  1. would you let your 18 year old have a Jeep

Had three kids, each one’s first vehicle was an older Jeep (TJ), wouldn’t hesitate to do it again.
  2. Jeep Wrangler Scrambler teased ... Uh Huh, we'll see

It's likely going to be a unibody truck with reduced towing capacity when compared to the JT - almost all wrangler underneath. Although, it could use new Dakota style suspension components including IFS, allowing Jeep to gauge acceptance of IFS across the line. For the dreamers, a full size Jeep...
  3. Help identifying what this is

Looks like the dealership left one of their service bay ODBII wireless readers in your JT by accident... but the zipped lighted switch strapped to it is confusing.
  4. KESTREL Work Truck (Fire Department Gladiator Build) by Morgan Olson -- at the FDIC show

This bed! But for the 4 door JT... at a reasonable price point. If you ever get a chance to spend time in a Hilux with a drop side bed, it will forever be your go to configuration when you can get it.
  5. Uhhh...Acela Trucks just launched a 2-door Jeep Comanche on a Gladiator!!

I'm late seeing and posting on this topic.... THIS IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN BLATHERING ABOUT FOR 5 YEARS! Jeep is missing a huge opportunity in not offering a stripped down (but still US road legal) factory drop side bed model of the Gladiator. What was once a market (drop side beds) limited to...
  6. Question about spare tire/wheel on my 2025 Nighthawk?

That's all everyone gets. Many do this: See my post #21 here: https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/...ly-model-to-have-18s.35658/page-2#post-578698 This sites Member Marketplace, FB Marketplace, CL, Ebay and other sites are full of takeoffs and just wheels so that you can go full size spare.
  7. Curious what everyone prefers these days for roll bars / bed racks

For me it would be the ability to change between RTT and cargo (kayaks, canoes, etc.). Lighter loads and boxed storage presently ride on crossbars over the cab or under the soft-topper (especially when element protection is needed). Having both an RTT and soft-topper also provides more covered...
  8. Curious what everyone prefers these days for roll bars / bed racks

If you are sourcing customer input for future product offerings, there is a need for those running Bestop, Agri-cover, Quad-topper, or Rampage soft bed toppers, for a lower cost alternative to the DatinFab Gladiator Canvas Cage Bed Rack that can go over the soft-top. I love DatinFab, but $1400...
  9. Having an issue with my Gladiator Mojave today

Even with a good test return there could still be an issue with a battery. Twice I went to Autozone last year and had them test aux batteries, one on our GC Trailhawk, the other on our JT (not at the same time of year). I was told batteries were good, but I still had the issues. Turned out they...
  10. Rattle

I had a bad rattle when driving on rough roads that I couldn't track down for days. Turned out to be a blown out shock bushing. The bushing had completely disintegrated. Also, check to see if you have any rocks trapped on/in skid plates, shields, or undercarriage openings.
  11. What do you do to keep the SNOW AND ICE from covering your LED HEADLIGHTS.

Carry a spray bottle of windshield de-icer. Works great. Can be picked up at Walmart. https://encrypted-tbn2.gstatic.com/shopping?q=tbn:ANd9GcS6ZY_bsyJdY0fFerLaX-PkuMT_2P9FQMNdO46U8PyYUjONyLRpTjDSPUebBgr0cE1ZifGH3a_7s-JaP74glAv7EgqxOXq_LqH5wsahrvqZDsl0EtpNgqRJng
  12. Look at the prices for dealer oil change

No offense… You folks need to learn to change your own oil. About $55 for Penzoil synth-oil (what the dealer uses) and the mopar filter at Autozone when on sale. Then free disposal of oil at most Autozones and many auto parts stores. You just need to make a onetime purchase for the oil catch...
  13. Overland tire load rating

If you will be overlanding where there is a rational concern for breaking belts or puncturing, then E rated. However, C and D are perfectly fine to use for most scenarios. With E, on road you will feel a stiffer ride difference over C. Hope that helps.
  14. Key Fob Not Detected

Had the FOB, stop/start disabled, and other issues last year - swapped the Aux battery and no more issues. Wife's GC had remote start, button start, as well as crazy display screen issues about two weeks ago - swapped the aux battery and no more issues. In the GC, the battery even tested good...
  15. Tires C load to E load ride quality

Second that. I run Falken A/T4W E rated and while it’s a slightly stiffer ride they are more puncture resistant on the sharp rocks and narrow trails where side walls are more vulnerable to damage. I got over 50K on the previous set and if it weren’t for wanting good tread for towing this winter...
  16. Needed new tires....again

I got 50K+ on my last set of Falkens (A/T3) and still had tread for possibly another 10K more, but due to upcoming rain and snow season I went ahead and replaced them. Looking forward to 50K+ on new Falkens (A/T4).
  17. stellantis Poll v-8 gladiator

Would rather have a two door long bed with a drop-side platform bed option.
  18. What is this top? Can't find anywhere!

Could not open the jpeg you posted. See if this thread is what you are looking for... https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/suntop-soft-top.43502/
  19. Disappointed in Bestop - Supertop for Truck 2

Just my opinion, the Agri-cover Outlander is superior in design and quality. Link: https://www.agricover.com/outlander/results?choose_year=2020&choose_make=Jeep&choose_model=Gladiator&choose_bed=5ft+Bed+(w/+or+w/o+Trail+Rails)
