  1. I'm building my idea of a perfect (for me) Gladiator rack

Man I loved your build so much that I just had to copy it (more or less). I got my uprights and brackets for Christmas just a few weeks ago and wasted no time getting it put together. It got put to use straight away for hauling us and a truckload of Christmas gifts for the kids home from the...
  2. Gladiator bed durability

You might get away with running a bolt through them, but you'd be better off chasing them with a tap. The holes in the front of the bed that mount a tonneau are M8, and I believe that the rail system bolts are either M8 or M6.
  3. Gladiator bed durability

Somehow this became a thread about Bed liner products but getting back to your initial question, the bed is plenty strong. As other have mentioned it’s made of steel other than the tailgate which is aluminum. The only other things to watch out for in the bed is that if you get the 120v inverter...
  4. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

Decided to put the Gladiators bed to good use this past weekend. Here’s a pic of it loaded up with 28 bags of mulch from the hardware store. That comes out to about 1.5 yards total in the bed and I was pretty impressed with the ride quality and how little the suspension sagged under the load...

I used the truck "as a truck" quite a lot and there definitely were a few times when I wished I had that...

  11. Not seeing any overland pictures

Here’s my new overland. It’s pretty much factory so far except for the aux lights. I’m trying to decide which lift/level kit I want to go with to be able to fit some 33” tires underneath. Any advice would be welcome!
