Selling this Genright Offroad Aluminum Rear Bumper with the optional internal corner gussets included. The gussets are still in the box, as I never got around to installing them. I recently sold my JT so have no more need for them :(
Bumper is clean with no hits or scratches and is...
Installed the slimline 2 roof rack kit for the JT the other day. Got a good deal for $1350 out the door.
Pros:
-Reasonably priced.
-Looks good.
-Powder coating is good.
-Appears reasonably sturdy. Can shake the whole truck by pushing on the rack without the rack/foot rails moving...
I Completely agree. I installed the .75 Daystar spacer and returned it shortly thereafter. It was so soft and spongy. I did not have any confidence that it would last for any appreciable amount of time before warping and disfiguring.
You got that right.. I just switched to 35x12.5R17 Toyos in E-Rated from the stock Bridgestone 31.5s and it is bone chattering. I feel every road imperfection.
I would keep the Taser calibration at the appropriate tire size. In your case, the 35x10.5 kendas. Unless there was some other compelling reason to do otherwise.
From my understanding, which I admit is limited, shock extension brackets are a good idea for a lift greater than 1.5".
As far as LCAs, I've been told that they're used to correct caster. I'd surmise that you do execute the 2" lift and then get caster measured and go with adjustable LCAs if...
Does anyone have any opinions on which is better in terms of quality and durability? Clayton vs. Synergy adjustable front track bars.

Now that you mention it, I dare say that my Sport Max Tow auto w/ 4.10 gears on the stock Bridgestone Dueler 245/75/R17 almost feels like the gear ratio might be too high for the 31.5 inch tire. Like you, I feel as if the tranny hesitates for a split second or two before upshifting to a higher...
Dont know if this is posted elsewhere, but I thought others might benefit from a compilation of coil spring part numbers. Here is what I have found so far:
Rubicon w/hard top & metal mopar front bumper (or a Launch Edition Rubicon): FRONT--339AC & 340AC
REAR--450AB & 451AC
Another Rubicon...
How is the phone holder "holding" up? Does the clamp that holds the phone loosen or lose spring tension over time? Any issues to report? Thanks in advance!
Before and after for one trim piece. Rear of the cab where the seatbelt meets the roll bar. It entails removing the seatbelt first and then removing the plastic trim.
As requested. The only wiring exposed by the process is obviously in the immediate vicinity of the dome light which I have since removed and will replace with some hidden LED lights at some point. One can also reroute the wires to locate them within the hollow roll bars as well, but I havent...
I removed almost all roll bar plastics from my Gobi JT save the trim over the rear view mirror, front and rear grab handles. I love it and dont foresee going back. I like the simplicity and additional head room. I intend to use the holes and screw points as attachment points for some sort of...
I didnt really notice it pre-TSB so I cant make a worthwhile before and after comparison, but post-TSB I tested the steering while parked with the engine on. Turned wheel to lock both left and right and I didnt notice any notchy or "bumpy" steering like some have reported. I haven't peeked at my...
I would verify first that they actually installed the new steering box by peeking under the driverside inner fender, just to cover all bases. If it is indeed the new steering box, I would take it back but that's just me. Seems excessive from your video especially post-TSB. My steering post TSB...
Got the TSB work done yesterday. Software reflash of the power steering module and new steering box. The 25 degree/2 inch dead spot in my steering is gone. Much safer to drive now and less fatiguing.
