l’ve had it for over a year. The only things I’ve done is put some carpet on it for the dogs and some tie downs for a small cooler for when I’m on the trails. Otherwise I love it as it allows for storage and a flat space for the four legged children
Check the sealing surface on the filler neck also. I went through this code and never could get it to stay gone ended up that the filler neck sealing surface wasn’t flat I guess to many times of banging the gas nozzle against it
Tatterbug I’ve got the metal cloak sector shaft brace on mine. When I did the pump and cooler upgrade and brace upgrade while checking the operation I noticed that when turning the whole frame would move . This had me a little shocked that there was that much force applied
And I’m running...
My problem would be lifting a 100 plus pound tire on and off the carrier along with the lost departure clearance. Not to mention the added stress on the weak area of the frame
You know a simple question was asked at the beginning of this thread was he a member. Eleven pages later there has been comments ranging from religion to craziness to personal opinion and personal stories. Topic lost
Just looked at cavfabs website direct bolt on no mods they offer two lengths of tie rods one for rubis and another for the narrower axle. 800$ for a 2.5 ton aluminum tie rod and draglink and believe me it’s stout as hell
On wide track ie rubi axles and max tow wheels worked just fine narrow width axles spaces needed. He has a rubicon so should work as it is the same axle as mine
I have inner fender clearance problems at full stuff running the 37’s on factory rims need to move the tire out some to correct this seems 8.5x17 with +18 would move the tire out about 1.5 inches
