I put 2k miles a month on mine. Just over 15k now. Fortunately haven’t experienced any issues at all. I do believe sometimes they just aren’t put together right. I had a brand new Ram 3500 diesel in 2016 that was in the shop 3 times for the same thing within a month. Fortunately the dealer...
Sadly I remember 33’s were “big” and a significant upgrade to our Jeeps. 40’s were around, just not common and were “huge”. Now they are becoming the norm. Lol. I’m sure a good driver can take a stock gladiator anywhere mine will go. But then again, mine will look better stuck! Lol
This is my uneducated opinion: I’m walking with you on a regear if you’re going to add lockers. Might as well, already in there. As for which ratio? 35’s and mostly pavement/highway, 4.56’s. You will want the 4.88’s for off road, but not worth the sacrifice for pavement use. If you think you...
I’m not convinced that towing something for 20 miles is an accurate evaluation of its towability. Lol. Congrats on your TT. Hope it gives you many good times and few problems!
What? Y’all don’t like the Quakes? Lol! I think there will be some smaller, more refined ones made eventually but these are better than the hideous stock ones IMO. The reverse lights are also super bright. They did have some issues a while back, but I will say they’re customer service is...
I have a 2020 sport s tow max. Arguably rated to tow 8,000lbs, though I would never attempt it. I do tow an Ibex 19mbh with sway bar system and redarc brake controller. Dry weight 4134 lbs, hitch weight 465 lbs. 24 feet long, 7 ft wide. No slide. Sleeps 7! While it tows better than I expected...
I don’t think it’s the word that’s offensive. I think it’s the fact that people buy a Jeep Truck and put bigger, heavier tires and add more weight via bumpers, etc and expect to get good mileage. Lol. I’ve always heard the same argument with trucks. I have never bought a truck and expected good...
I didn’t know the new Bronco was also a pickup truck? What is its towing capacity? Do you honestly think Ford will knock it out of the park and not have any issues with it? Lol.
Its worth it to me to spend a few minutes to R&R the Tazer before a visit than to potentially argue warranty issues with the dealer ( or to worry about it) Besides, it gives me a reason to update the firmware on the Tazer.
I left my synergy brace in place with track bar connected. Did not see the point in reinstalling the steering brace. Why? Because I wasted $250 on a part I don’t think I need now! Lol! Maybe things will loosen up after some miles and my thoughts will change. I hope not because I like the way...
That’s what is weird. My dealer said just take off the aluminum piece connecting brace to steering. No problem. Took 5 minutes. Every dealer is different I guess. Hopefully you can take it to another dealer and still get it done. It’s frustrating because if Jeep didn’t have a bad steering system...
I uninstall my tazer and put it back to factory settings before the visit. I ordered an extension cable from tazer to make this easier. Maybe the dealer doesn’t care, maybe they do. Every dealer/mechanic is probably different. I dropped mine off for an oil change a few months ago. When I picked...
@Jeeperjamie
I am totally walking with you.....build your Jeep for its intended use. I think we all would agree the JT is more attractive sitting on top of 37’s. Just realize that you may have to do more upgrades/modifications to get there and whether it is worth it to you ($$$). I went with...
2 weeks. They never said there was a shortage or any other BS. Only that they have not performed this repair yet. Originally they said parts would take a month, but actually only took 2 weeks. And they only took less than 2 hours to install. Less than what the book said! This should be standard...
