Could you use a single axle dump trailer? I have a Lamar 5x10 which has been among the most versatile trailers I've owned... 7K axle, 4800 lb load capacity. Tows great. I got mine at Best Choice Trailers in Carlisle PA.
Ouch. We'd be at $186/day for our family. Might need to re-think that part of the trip a bit. Thank you for the heads up! Alltrails.com has some alternate ideas, and there was an interesting series on Expedition Portal...
We love our 4Runner and with seating for 7, it's perfect for our family. Reliable, good on fuel, and good off road. No complaints at all. The Sequoia is even better from a space perspective, and has been awesome off-road as well. The JT is a somewhat different animal, and we are having a blast...

I took three of my four girls to Switzer Lake/Skidmore Fork/Dunkle Hollow/Flagpole Knob and Union Springs on Monday. This is off Route 33 West from Harrisonburg VA. It started raining heavily just as the trail got interesting - we didn't bump into anyone out there.
Hi, looking for regular (non color matched) hard top and willing to travel - in Maryland, but anywhere in lower 48 is fair game. Thank you!

Hi everyone,
This is our first Jeep (Toyota and Ford truck family) and we're really excited about it. Picked it up last Thursday, and have already put a bit over 1400 miles on it. If you're familiar at all with Maryland/Virginia area, we've taken it through Greenridge State Forest (north and...
