Stupid topic I guess but, is the front cupholder easily removed for cleaning? Seems like it should separate from the shifter/console. 38 months of goop and dog hair in there - what are you all doing to get it tidy?
I hesitated posting this because of the zillions of posts and threads about tires/rims. Everyone has an opinion about the best combination for a specific application which is certainly valuable information when making a decision for your Gladiator. However, It can make it even more...
My 130 lb male GSD used to jump in the back seat with no problem until recently. Now he puts his front paws up and I hoist his butt in the rest of the way. I’m going to look into those steps as they seem like a great option.
I had the same dilemma. For me, I rarely go off road and it’s usually dirt/gravel not anything serious. So lifting the truck for bigger tires really comes down to “cosmetics” for me.
On paved roads is where I dive 95% of the time and yes, fuel mileage is important to me too.
I upgraded the...
Wow, the tech that replaced the box sounds like part of the problem. Glad its fixed, mine was resolved with a new "gear" and no problems so far. Sorry, I can't resist.... sounds like we both had the classic "loose nut behind the wheel" syndrome....
I hope it works for you. It was hard to believe the WD40 fixed a noise that definitely sounded like something significant was loose somewhere. Let us know!
Trivial I suppose but, I had a clunking noise in both B pillars that was driving me crazy. Driver's side more than the passenger. It only happened over choppy bumps. Not a rattle or squeak. I looked at everything from the rack/basket, roof panels, weather strips (ever heard of Gummi Fleg?)...
This was the "fix" for my Jeep - 2020 Gladiator. Many, many, many CEL and ASS faults from 300 miles on, always occurring when just started, driving off, hot or cold, just off idle speed. At first the dealer tried reprogramming with no change.
Several visits with "no problem found". Finally...
FWIW, If it were me, I’d drive it and press on. Right or wrong, I said to myself, if it blows up, it blows up. Having said this, I was very frustrated with the whole process and why it took months.
The right side, intake cam was the fix in my case - I would say that it was a manufacturing...
From my misfire experience and documentation, the CEL "always" set when first started AND driving off - hot or cold. It never set the CEL while on the road driving - only when just off-idle.
My misfire problem was resolved with an Intake Cam replacement some months back but that was the...
Thanks for the recommendation. I looked at these but they won’t work on the Off Grid basket because there’s no front upper “bar” to secure the brackets to.
What I’m trying to find is a bracket that will clamp to the basket tubes or removable cross bars which kind of have a triangle/round...
I did some searching on the forums and couldn’t find anything about mounting lights to a roof basket.
I have a Yakima Off Grid and it has odd diameter tubing that no one seems to have light brackets for - I tried the sizes available from KC and they’re either too small or too big for the Yakima...
I can happily report that 2 months after the right intake can was replaced - and more than 100 stop/starts and more than 2,000 miles - there are no more CEL or ASS faults.
In looking back the idle was lumpy which I had thought was “normal” before the can replacement. The idle is so smooth now...
I really like your logic. It’s an attribute I’m trying to cultivate. Inside is for inside stuff. Outside stuff, in the bed. What a concept! Not My Pillow…..
