4/7 update. After four days of daily use with no connectivity with Uconnect, it finally started updating. I was going to call Jeep but apparently all I had to do is wait a few days for the update to integrate - strange but, I’m happy!
Just did a Map Update (software as as required too). Now the app on my phone won’t read the data - mileage, location, TP, etc. the remote lock/unlock works fine but the data won’t update. I’ve devoted the phone a couple of times but still the same. Any help is appreciated - TIA
My 2020 Gladiator Overland has 57,000 miles now and I have used Mobil 1 (0W20) on each oil change, with a filter since the Wave Services ran out. I change at about 6-7,000 miles. It is mostly driven at lower speeds on local roads with a 700 mile trip, twice a year from Alabama to Florida.
It...
Out at Crown King Saloon about ten years ago after stopping in Cleator - funny story - there was a UPS driver delivering there and I said to my wife: "I can't believe UPS comes all the way up here". the UPS guy overheard me and said: "I can't believe it either".....
Thanks for the response - great perspective. I’m only a few months behind you, in a similar situation so, now I have something to consider as an option! I’ve only 50k on my Overland and put on new tires a few months back so I have some time to look things over. Thanks again! (sorry for the...
Thanks to everyone that responded to my post - I learned a lot reading all these posts. Most important: I learned that I'm keeping my Overland until the wheels fall off! Or until Jeep comes up with a model with similar value/options. Have a great Memorial Day and thank you to all our Veterans...
This is great feedback. That’s the conclusion I’ve come to. Lockers and sway bar disconnects is not something I’d use often if ever. What happened to the “High Altitude”?
I guess I could be regarded as a “poser” but I want comfort, style and off-road capability when I need it. Thank you!
I'm considering replacing my 2020 Overland and looking at the models that are now available, I'm thinking I should keep it. I don't go "real" off roading and I like a quiet, smooth ride (wind noise I'm used to). What 2025 model do you think is comparable?
Pretty common I think - mine look light grey. I was hoping to find some kind of spray that would get into all the nooks and crannies. Otherwise, I guess it’s time to get out the Q tips…
It wasn’t just in the USA - I visited a BMW assembly plant in Germany in the early 80s and there were vending machines with beer on the assembly line.
I worked on a new MB in the 70’s with a rattle - turned out to be an empty schnapps bottle inside the passenger door. I guess it all depends on...
Thanks for the information! Seems there a lot of generic “push pins” and plastic rivets available (a ton of them on Amazon). I realize that there isn’t a need for “precise” fitting but, I like to at least try to do a job correctly…. Thanks again!
This is a good thread for information. I was lucky (?) and my batteries failed and were replaced 2 months before the warranty ran out. I was looking at the scope of changing the aux battery and my wonderful dealer left out a few of the inner fender fasteners….
Looking to have some spares on...
I guess this post falls under the category of "so what?" but maybe it'll help someone making a decision about upgrading the standard tires on stock Overland rims.
I've never liked the Bridgestones that came with my Gladiator. They were terrible in the rain - stopping, turning and taking off...
Stupid topic I guess but, is the front cupholder easily removed for cleaning? Seems like it should separate from the shifter/console. 38 months of goop and dog hair in there - what are you all doing to get it tidy?
