Had some of this stuff leftover from when I owned my KL so I figured let’s see what happens.
(steel bumper eventually, this will hold me a while lol)
Product is called solution finish
https://a.co/d/0d3vpSLQ is what I used
So far that bottle has done my KL twice, and the JT once, plus the bumper you see in the pics.
black bumper, no painting and this far has survived 6 automatic car washes.

1000% wear rubber gloves, and apply with a tire sponge. Shake well and wipe excess off after 30 mins. Let dry for 5-6 hours before driving.

Pretty common I think - mine look light grey. I was hoping to find some kind of spray that would get into all the nooks and crannies. Otherwise, I guess it’s time to get out the Q tips…

No, mine isn’t bad. Not even 6000 miles on my truck yet. I did all the other trim.
the idea being this is a dye and protection thing. So maybe it won’t get bad.

it wipes right off paint, if you do it immediately.
use one of those black and yellow tire sponges to apply this stuff https://a.co/d/0ch5tOm7
A few drops or so and press down and it gets nooks and crannies easily. Look at the light trim on my pics above.

this stuff should do it. Use the applicators I linked above. A few drops and press and wipe on. Wipe off any paint or glass immediately and it wipes right off. Once dry the stuff is very permanent. It’s a dye, use gloves

Use one of those detailing brushes and "paint" it into the nooks and crannies.

Problem with a brush and this stuff is getting bristles that fall off stuck in the material.
sponges are best. Simply wipe excess off with a lint free rag/towel and you’re cherry.
