Following up with solution.
The issue was a connectivity issue with the distance from the Bluetooth module to the Linx unit in the cab of the Gladiator. From the bed of the truck to the cab doesn’t seem like a long distance for Bluetooth, but it was. I routed a RP-SMA cable from the Bluetooth...
*Update*
ARB is sending me a replacement Bluetooth module. Once received, installed, and tried, I’ll follow up with results.
And side note, this is why imo I am such a fan of ARB for their customer service (I had called and spoke to them before a half a dozen times a day for a couple days in...
Unfortunately only fridge I have and know no one with one to test my module on. Hesitant to buy another module before hearing back from ARB. I emailed them the other night, still waiting for response.
I’ve double checked the Bluetooth module. Uninstalled, inspected, and reinstalled and no issue.
Also, when it does disconnected if I cut the power to the fridge and then give power back, the fridge immediately when given power back, the Linx gets its signal again from the Bluetooth module.
I’m...
When I’m the vehicle it is connected via USB. When testing the Bluetooth range to ensure it’s not intermittent connection from the distance it is unplugged and next to the fridge.
I have the Linx installed on a 2020 Jeep Gladiator. I also have a new Elements fridge/freezer installed with the Bluetooth module which runs from a second battery in my Genesis dual battery setup. I can turn my fridge on and it will always stay on (i.e. not being disconnected from the battery...
Yes, it does matter how new the Elements fridge is. The user manual for the Bluetooth module even states that with the newer models you will have full functionality. I did have a new fridge (not just new in the box, but new production, not an older elements that was produced years ago and...
I have the Elements and installed the Bluetooth module for it. Now, I am running the ARB Linx, let me make that very clear, because, I can not only monitor my Elements, but I can also control it. I am able to lock/unlock it, turn it off/on, and program up to 3 different temperature settings.
I...
Thank you!!!!
Yes, all my wire taps are with the posi taps, makes life easy and in case of taping the wrong wire (which I’ve done before), the wire isn’t destroyed from trying to remove the insulation and splicing with solder. Plus super fast!!!!
I have installed the ARB Linx in my 2020 Gladiator. Part of the installation is tapping into the ACC power pickup, low beam pickup, high beam pickup, and reverse light pickup.
The acc and low beam was easy. The cigarette lighter has 3 wires, 2 of which are the acc and low beam.
For the high...
I have an ARB twin compressor installed along with front and rear ARB air lockers.
The compressor is working and engages/disengages my air lockers; however, when I plug my hose into chuck to air tires, its not pressurized or working.
Thoughts on troubleshooting or issues?
Thank you!
Thank was the confirmation I was needing. Everything being connected to the fuse block draws less than 40 amps and the AUX1 switch claims to be protected by 40 amps. Now that I know I can connected that wire directly to a fuse block, it will make the installation of devices much...
I’m installing a lot of electronics in the cab that I want to be able to cut all power to when Jeep is off or on or be able to turn on when Jeep is off, etc etc. The Aux switch is perfect for this as it can be programmed for nearly any config. However, I have 6 devices (all total less than 40...
