I just switched to an E range tire and they are stiff. I would recommend c range unless you will be towing. Added cooper at3 and its a considerable difference from the stock bridgestone highway tread. I also went 285/75 /17 from 255/70/18 fwiw

Which tires did you go with? I have the 18's and will probably switch to 17's for same reasons you cited.

What is the lightest, c - range all terrain tire that will fit on an 18 inch wheel (overland)? I will never tow with this truck. I will get the 1-1.5 front level from terra flex if needed. I read on one thread that the Nitto terra grappler g2 fit that description, but would like to...
