Iām running the Mopar CAI, minus the hood vent (Doesnāt work with the Mojave hood) and an AWE Trail exhaust. Iām very happy with this setup. I initially used the dry panel filter that came with the CAI kit, but have since changed to an AFE Pro 7 deep filter that takes advantage of the the deeper...
For my purposes, I wonāt be adding a winch. But if I did, there wouldnāt be any interference, as the skid is actually moved down and out of the way by an inch and 1/2... definitely wouldnāt interfere with a winch plate. It would be like mounting to any other Mopar steel bumper. I considered it...
Finally arrived! These lights have been back ordered for a while, so I was thrilled to see them arrive. it couldnāt be easier to hook up and rounds out the front end. These babies put out some light! Great throw ~ Iām impressed.
Good to know - I didnāt have access to a laptop, so unmarried and brought it in to my desktop and did it that way. Waited for it to be completely downloaded/finished, then took it back out and reinstalled/married and reset settings. All seems to be well!
I'm guessing this update doesn't do anything with the Tazer Lite? I unplugged and tried to download.. but didn't even give me a download link... and said I had the latest firmware. Guess I'll have to think about upgrading it to a Mini.
For the money... get 'em. I didn't think I would be using mine either (bought off the lot and had them, other wise I wouldn't have ordered them) but have front KC bumper lights coming to mount up - it's definitely nice not to have to mess with getting switches or worry about anything but basic...
The wheels are Black Rhino Rumble, 17x8.5, 0 offset, 22 lbs. each. The tires are 315/70/17 Ridge Grapplers. Whole setup per wheel weighs 92.6 Lbs. Theyāre a bit wider and just barely shorter than the true 35s, though I have to set my Tazer at 34.6 to get the speedo on point.
I tackled this last weekend - this is my story: bought the Mopar steel stubby from Bam wholesale. I didnāt want to hack into the bumper or skid plate, so I hoped for a creative solution, and I found it after much reading on this and other forums, owners groups, etc. I ended up moving the skid...
Black Rhino Rumble wheel - 17x8.5, 0 offset, 22 lbs.! Mounted on 315/70R17 Ridge Grapplers. Super clean look with these wheels... lovin' it! The color is called gun black and really matches the black tones on the rails and other trim. Only about 6 lbs. heavier than stock - I had the Falken MTs...
For anyone that has done the switch from the Mojave plastic bumper to the steel bumper - I've gotten a good handle on the need for skid plate trimming, but want to ask how you did it? I obviously want to do the least damage possible and it'd be nice if it didn't burn through a bunch of...
You can unplug it, yes, but Iām leaving mine plugged in unless taking in for service. The main reason for leaving it hooked up (for me)is the ESS disable, otherwise Iād probably disconnect it with my tire settings left intact. Big +1 on getting the cable also, makes connecting/disconnecting much...
Iāve only had my RGs on for a few days, so not a lot of miles yet. With that said, Iāve found them to be only slightly stiffer than the stock Falken MTs and ride very well.. Iām digging them! Iāve got 315/70/17s, so just slightly less diameter but slightly wider. Also 70 lbs. vs. 75 for the 35s...
