Clayton 3.5" Overland Plus with BFG KO2s, 35x12.5. I had to install limit straps because rear fox shocks were about 1.5" too long and springs would pop out at full droop.
You know you're right it was an 82 cj5, I know it was an even year in the eighties. It had an AMC20 rear end and Dana 30 front diff, a Dana 300Tcase and a T15 manual trans.. My memory ain't what it used to be, thank you for pointing that out.

Sport S Max Tow with 3.5inch Clayton Overland Plus and 35x12.5x17 BFGs and Black Rhino Arsenal Wheels with -18mm offset. I had to add limiting straps in the rear as the spring would leave the spring perch at full droop.
I ordered kit from Clayton per the website as well as the recommended shock part number. The 3.5inch kit supposedly closer to 4. the shocks are for a 3.5 to 4inch lift.
