I am selling a winch plate that came with my Arcus bumper, but I never used it. I installed the bumper without the winch plate and blanked out the hole. I traded my Gladiator, and the replacement Jeep already came with a winch installed. The winch plate fits between the frame members and may...
I bought this kit for my Jeep JT Mojave's rear M220 axle, but I traded the vehicle before I could install it. It will also fit the JL Wranglers with the M220 rear axle. It’s brand new, still sealed in the original packaging.
This upgrade replaces the problematic factory ball bearing design with...
I tried a couple of things to get more sound which resulted with this arrangement along with a comparison between the two mufflers. My Exhaust Comparison
OHJeeper, Austin, you are the man! I crawled under and tightened any bolt I could ratchet. I pulled it out of the garage and still had the noise. Brought it back into the garage and removed the cross member/skid plate and bingo, the noise was gone. I added a 7/16" washer between the...
Good call, I just tried it and didn't hear a noise. In the air it might not be as loaded as when on the ground. I also had the wife help me to rotate the tires, so we were at different speeds trying to simulate it turning. The noise is more prevalent when turning.
Good eye, they are 13.5. Prior to the coopers I was running the BFG KO 37's. I ran similar trails last year and it wasn't terrible. I regeared this spring to 5.13 and it really is a nice improvement. I regained eighth gear, and its mannerisms on the highway and hills are great.
Some of the...
Extracting the audio from each area seems to correlate with your hearing. It appears loudest in the rear near the pinion. Sway bar links and track bar are tight so it may be the pinion bearing. I watched this video and ordered a new bearing
I know the Mojave was desert bound and although I live in Egypt, it happens to be Egypt Pennsylvania where coal is more prevalent than sand. This year I spent time replacing the suspension and gaining a little more clearance. Last month I finally got to play with it at AOAA.
Here are some...
Thank you all for the responses, I was traveling this week and couldn't investigate further. Like Amos, it has 46k miles and I just treated the underside with a fluid film but not likely to have anything to do with it. In my scenario, I had a couple Johnny Joints that would creak but I knew...
2 weeks ago, I began experiencing a clicking sound that appears to be coming from the transfer case. It seems to be loudest around that area so I mounted a GoPro in various areas to see if I could see anything moving. The video is moving in my driveway, but I can hear it at faster speeds. I...
Marked these down to $100, I don't have a box to ship them. One other update, I removed the blue coil spring sleeves on the rear springs and had to use them on Metal Cloak springs. I never compressed the rear Mojave springs to need them but the Metal Cloak top 1/3 of the springs compress and...
This week, in preparation for topless day, I finished breaking in the 5.13 gears, changed out the gear oil and replaced the differential covers. I added my customer made @pixeldecals to the cowl and bed in matching colors and fonts to Mojave. Today, I just finished adding more details to my...
Here are the pictures as it sits today. The latest add on has been customer decals by @pixeldecals. Along the bed, my Instagram handle which is written in the same font and color as Mojave. At the front, a QR code to my photography website in the form of our flag matching the Mojave Orange...
