  1. Check Out This Well-Optioned Gladiator

If it was a diesel I’d buy it šŸ˜‰

  3. Help: -2 F overnight. Won’t start. Next steps?

Yeah it’s got a blank female cap on it, just pull it off. Like I said grab the knock off cord to save money. After that I routed it the best way possible to behind the front bumper. Good luck. šŸ¤™šŸ«”
  4. Help: -2 F overnight. Won’t start. Next steps?

That’s the thread, for the OP’r, you should already have the heater, just pick up the cord and plug it in.
  5. Help: -2 F overnight. Won’t start. Next steps?

I’m in the same boat and same location. I plugged in the block heater only to find that the GFI tripped (something else in my garage), so yesterday morning it wouldn’t start and I got the same message. Tossed a bottle of HEET in the tank, fixed the plug, waited a couple of hours and she fired...
  6. Auto start /stop 3.0 diesel

Just wait a couple of months and it’ll stop working, problem solved!
  7. Towing topless and doors off, anyone try it?

Zero issues. I even picked up a rain fly on Amazon for such occasions. Tow with no doors, get there, pop the freedom tops in the bed and carry on about your business. Good weather towing only. šŸ¤™
  8. Regret....

I had to replace my DEF tank under warranty, knock on wood I’ve had no other issues. 2021 diesel Willy’s and per the traffic on this forum I’m the only one in existence with minimal to no issues. šŸ’ To the OP, that sucks man. Build up that cross trek a bit, won’t be a Jeep but still looks fun...
  9. Used Rubicon diesel with 60k miles

That’s an older version eco diesel, they made significant progress through each generation. I love my diesel, had a DEF pump/heater issue when I first purchased it. Quickly and easily replaced by the dealership. With all of that being said I likely won’t keep it past its warranty unless the...
  10. 28,000 mile Rear Diff Fluid Change

I’ve been noticing a slight whine during low speed turns. I have the Willy’s trim, assuming that is the LSD. I plan on swapping out the rear diff fluid during my 35k oil change (currently at 32k). Any reason not to? Thanks, great thread.
  11. 2024 Selec Trac full time four wheel drive on Willys?

I agree Jeep doesn’t allow you to option the drive train well but having a ā€˜21 Willy’s, I’m happy I chose it, as the LSD is a life saver come winter. ?
  12. 3.0 ecodiesel

I love my Ecodiesel, it makes the Jeep enjoyable, between the various noises, turbo ā€œlagā€ and plenty of torque. I wouldn’t have bought the vehicle if it wasn’t an option. With that being said my number one concern is the longevity of this engine and the price it’ll incur once out of its...
  13. Looking for safe for gladiator? Under seat?or out or site holster for hand gungun ?

I have the center console safe, it’s moderate security when I have to lock up my pistol as a last resort. If I had to do it over I’d have bought a VaultTek LifePod and cabled it into various locations in the Jeep. Allowing me the modularity to use it elsewhere, additional safe in house, TSA...
  14. Is Summer Blend Back Already?

Possibly, I’m attributing it to not using my starter as much.
  15. Sturdy Storage Container That Fits Under Bed Cover

That’s what I use, easy and cheap enough. Only hangup is I have to roll the tonneau back if I store the tote on the back wall of the Jeep.
  16. NY wheelin, suggestions….

No, is the short of it. NY is not an off road compliant state unless it’s private land, even then there can be some issues. Harriman state park and Bear Mtn can be a blast for two feet though. ? There appears to be a place North of you in Ellenville, I’ve never been. Otherwise I’d head west...
  17. Positive Spin

Love my Diesel Gladiator, I’m a huge fan of modularity and quirks, this has boat loads of both. I’ve had unique and quirky cars that plot all over the map, 87 Dodge D150, evo9 mr, FJ Cruiser TRD, Fiesta ST, and a couple of those I wish I squirreled away in a pole barn some where. I believe if...
  18. Recommendations for rear seat dog bed/seat cover?

Orvis, Mud River and Kurgo make nice hammock styles, mine is one of the three purchased at Bass Pro Shops. Good luck.
  19. PSA: just because you can, doesnt mean you should...

Love it, only regert is he didn’t do custom seat covers on the rear seats. ?
  20. Headlights snowed over

Welcome to the Jeep forum, I’ve experienced this and have seen the dozens of various solutions posted on here in the past. Personally, I get out and clean them off and carry on my way. ? Oracle makes heated versions and I’m sure throwing some rainx or similar couldn’t hurt. Good luck.
