Good info from members. Here is the service bulletin. Once I disconnected the battery , I turned on the light to make sure everything was fully drained…reconnected and followed the procedure.
Got Re-geared from 3:73 to 4:88 with my manual transmission as I upgraded my tire size to 35’s. Revolution gears. Had to re-set the PCM by disconnecting the battery + Re-learn top gear N/V ratio. Really positive in drivability, ease of engaging first gear, the use of 6th gear and looking forward...
Took the plunge into 35’s. Toyo Open Country A/T III’s. 35x11.5x17’s. Happy how they ride and look so far. Will test off road on the next Jamboree.
Stock Rubicon rims plus 285/70/r17 wild peak A/T with 1.5 inch Rock Krawler front springs, Mojave shocks and Rubicon/Mojave fenders. Ready for some 35’s.
Installed Mojave shocks on my Willys. Really like the setup so far for on road dynamics when soaking up bumps / pot holes. TBD Offroad. Paired with Rock Krawler 1.5 inch lift front springs and Rubicon rear springs.
Some learnings / approaches for install:

I did have to change the liner. Luckily the person I bought them from had the liners. Also need to buy a rivet gun to reapply the plastic rivets if they aren’t already attached. No big deal. 20 bucks on Amazon
A few more add ons:
Rear Eaton e-lockers (got the front installed but found a rear axle seal leak so had the dealer fix it first)
Falcon 2.1 SP2 shocks
Rock Krawler 1.5 inch lift front springs
Longer Mopar LCA
Enjoyed a Hurricane Creek trail ride with my brother near Asheville NC
@Artsifrtsi Have you installed these springs? If so, can you comment on how they are working / how they perform off-roading? I’m considering the same to replace using spacers coupled with falcon 2.1 sp2 shocks.
Installed Fab fours rock sliders. Got a great deal from a fellow JT owner. Pretty hefty and happy with the design and functionality. Will see how it handles off-roading.
