I have wind noise on my Wrangler from where the Freedom Panels meet the Windshield frame. I have adjusted the brackets to their lowest position so the panels are on tight. I have no idea how to stop the wind noise. When I put the soft top on the noise is a lot lower, so it has to be in the panels. I do not have this issue with my Gladiator.
From my experience the wind noise is power on the soft tops, but the ambient noise is louder. I think it all just cones down to shape and wind buffering. I noticed a minor drop in the wind buffeting noise when i put on some vent visors.

I did one long piece on the windshield. Still debating on trimming the piece on top of the hinges. Then cut two separate pieces for each cowl. I didn’t touch the hood seam.

Easy install, just stuffed in. Used plastic detail tool to help. Run finger along material to even out. Couple 80mph one hour test drives later and no movement.

Just finished mine also with sound deadening.
Just to set expectations here, this does make a difference. At low speed the cabin is very quiet now, where before you’d hear wind flowing through the area by the lower windshield and hitting the cabin.

at speeds 60+ it’s a bit quieter, now the wind turbulence is mostly from the freedom top by the sound of it, still a bit quieter. Not 70% though that’s a stretch.

70% might be specific to someone who's running a cable through that spot, stretching the existing seal open so there's a direct open path to outside

Sounds like for everyone else with no cable installed there (like me), there's still some benefit

Also tried it this weekend. As @JeepCode4 said, lower speeds it does seem quieter. Highway seems about the same.

Did mine on friday. Used some foil backed butyl rubber and put gorilla duct tape over it. Drove it on the highway yesterday in 40mph crosswinds. Definitely quieter. I should probably put on a set of ATs for an hour, but the tire noise is more noticeable, so the wind noise has to have decreased a bunch.

I'm going to be the outlier on this and say that there's a slight crack in there that I don't want to deal up for fear of trapping water in a place where it previously readily drained.

You beat me to the punch. The guys stuffing foam and stuff in there is just going to trap water. I live in the PNW so corrosion is always a concern here.
