I think It is usually determined by the least capable components in the system as a whole. I think that is often tires. I have an old dodge Dakota and that is essentially what the manual says .

Installed my Clearlidz a couple of weeks ago. Working out the wind noise. As an experiment, I added a washer under the front four hold-downs along the windshield so they pull down on the lid a little harder. So far I think it helped some, Not excessively noisy. I like the look and the light...
I'll prob. try to do this myself. I think it would be easier to replace it than give up the car for a day/several hours at the dealership. Plus I would rather keep such a small item off the insurance. I'll take a pic of the damage. Glad it was not another foot to the left!
