I did this: and uploaded this: and also posted a bent dead pedal up for grabs to the local NorCal Pay it Forward thread.
  2. NorCal Pay It Forward Thread

photo for attention Cheap Amazon dead pedal. It’s bent exactly where you’d expect it to be. Free to any JL/JT owner that’s local in the Bay Area.
  3. NorCal Pay It Forward Thread

This bed mat is still sitting in my driveway. It’s free to anyone who wants to come get it.
  4. DMV Weight Fee

Didn’t bother me at all. The truck build was almost perfect. It was an added benefit to be able to pay less in registration. That Tacoma is now completely different; fiberglass fenders, long travel, custom springs, etc. and it still is registered as an RV…
  5. DMV Weight Fee

Another workaround for the commercial plates on a 1/2 ton truck in California is getting the registration modified to be a Recreational Vehicle. By doing this, you will be charged RV fees instead of commercial truck. I changed my registration on my Tacoma to RV when I had a Drifter wedge camper...

  7. NorCal Pay It Forward Thread

  8. NorCal Gladiator Folk?

I don’t really consider Lake County part of the Bay Area. Holister is just as much of a mud hole as is Knoxville but I don’t consider San Benito county in the Bay Area either. Enough snark. Sorry. During this time of year I head south for any wheeling trips. So, my recommendations don’t really...
  9. NorCal Gladiator Folk?

I wouldn’t bother with Knoxville this time of year, unless you love mud, are willing to spend hour washing the crud out of your undercarriage and have a large group going where everyone is willing to aid in recovery…. The terrain, soil compound and remoteness make this place a no go in my book...
  10. NorCal Pay It Forward Thread

Wow. I thought this would be gone by now….
  11. Metalcloak Toy Drive | Saturday, December 16 | 9 - Noon

Man, I gotta check in with forum more often… I would have loved to attend. Hope it was a great turnout.
  12. NorCal Pay It Forward Thread

I live a few hours away and my truck came with factory rock rails. I love the idea of giving with no expectation of reciprocity. It helps bond a community. I am sure someone would love some factory rock rails if you posted them up.
  13. NorCal Pay It Forward Thread

Hello there. I could not find a lock Pay It Forward Thread here in NorCal, so I’ll start one I guess. I have a passenger RC bed Molle panel that I was told to keep after a shipping mishap. I ordered the full bed set online and each panel came separately. Unfortunately(or not) I received 2...
  14. The JT TRPR

Back to build stuff. Last week I replaced the batteries due to an error on my part. The error was leaving the inverter on overnight for two days. I had shown a customer my electrical setup and forgotten to turn the inverter off. I had a battery charging in the Milwaukee multi charger and it...
  15. California Black Softopper $500 - Located in Southern California

It’s almost worth it for me to drive down… almost.
  16. The JT TRPR

I’ll take your “demand” into consideration… in other news, the Gladiator has sprung another CEL. This one has a TSB associated. So, back to the dealership for service.
  17. 4X4 shop options in the SF Bay Area

    Schaffer’s Off-road is a solid shop.
  18. The JT TRPR

Had the Jeep back now for a bit and have put just shy of 5k on her. A check engine light came on this past Thursday. Considering these two weeks are the busiest of the year for me work wise and then the next month is jam packed with family birthdays and an annual Aulani trip, I am not sure when...
  19. The JT TRPR

Now that’s a solid tip! I’ll start digging for a part number. Thanks!
  20. There she blows!

From what my service advisor tells me, the replacement parts to “fix” the CP4 failures are still not available. My new pump is still fallible. .
