I had this same problem with Full Throttle and now Odyssey batteries.
Get some battery shims and trim them down to size. Its really easy but it might take a couple tries.
Here’s a pic of mine...
For clarification is your rig equipped with the selec-trac where it automatically switches between 2WD and 4WD or were you really running 4Hi in the rain?
The paint quality was my only concern when I received them. The color match was always slightly off and they do weather differently.
Here’s a pic of mine from last summer. I’ve had them for a couple years now and I’m over it. I have bad OCD and otherwise really like them. People don’t notice...
Coming off a recent 3 week hiatus myself, I anticipate this thread will be shutdown and bans will be coming. If you’re not sure if you’ve crossed the political spectrum, then you probably did, and you should delete your posts. It doesn’t matter if you’re right or wrong, it’s not a fight you’ll win.
I don’t, but I wish i did or knew how to fix it. I actually like the ESS. I was just bummed because I went from a failing ESS battery to a system that can’t get it to work like it supposed to. I assume if they knew how to fix it, they would, but as of their 3 gen release - it was a no go. I just...
While people “know” what the Genesis setup does, what many don’t know and Genesis doesn't tell you unless you ask about it, is that their setup prevents your ESS from working properly. It only works for 6 start/stop events before it throws an error and disables ESS until you turn the vehicle off...
You might try Ace Hardware. Some but not all provide this service. Check out this site they support Gladiators.

That’s great news. If you’re able order it, make sure to drive it to the other dealership to show them when it arrives. I’m pretty sure they don’t give a shit, but at least show them they lost a sale and you’re not going to take their up selling because you know what you want and won’t settle...
Dang, that sucks! Your repair looks good though. It blends in with the glossy cover and rippled texture. I have BakFlip’s version of the cover. Mine seems pretty solid, but I haven’t really dropped anything on it to test it.
I would be surprised if they sold individual panels.
If I recall...
Thanks for the heads up, I’ll keep an eye out for this. One thing that’s weird with my Gladiator is the rear driver’s side door, ever so slightly sticks out below the door handle. It’s not quite flush with the body, but it opens and closes fine so I’ve never messed with it.
All the half doors...
It’s been a while since I’ve posted. Everyone’s rigs are looking sharp. I built a DIY rack to hold my doors and added some Amazon special Made in China doors. I’m actually pretty impressed with the doors. For $600 they are solid and come with mirrors. My only complaint is the installation...
My behavior is similar to others who have commented. I park in the garage and on cold mornings the heated seats and steering wheels don’t come on immediately. After driving a short distance and stopping for an errand they will automatically come on. For me, the magic degree seems to be 37.
Man, that sucks. Unfortunately, there are other threads on damages tops from rear window replacement.. I would push for a new top. Absolutely ridiculous. I feel for ya man.
For me, I get this light after installing the Genesis dual battery kit. It comes on after the 6th ESS. It’s a known issue and limitation of the kit. It resets itself when you shut the vehicle off.
