I can't wait to get mine. Jeeps are an addiction I bought my "wife" stuff for the jl for xmas. Holidays are great it gives me an excuse to buy parts lol.
Looks good. That mpg is insane. I'm planning on buying a eco and trading my ram in on it. I'll be using my wheels from my truck. They weigh in at 120 each. That's a 24x14 With a 35. I assume those 37s may weigh about the same?
A auto manufacturers goal isn't to give you an everlasting vehicle. Their goal is to get you thru your warranty period and just a smidge more so you'll hopefully buy their product again. And they do this the cheapest way possible while making you feel like you got a good value.
And to point out again the entire reason aftermarket exist is to improve on what oem did. This is why most aftermarket parts cost more. Oem understands that top of the line everything is very cost prohibitive. If you were to put the best of the best of everything in your gladiator you would be...
Just to point out I never said anything about increasing a rating. Nor would taking a sawzall to it be the intent which again goes back to as the way it sits does it have room for a bigger radiator? And it 100% is you opinion that I would want to do this to increase a rating. Which if you read...
Thank you for the relevant input. Again not to come off as a d!ck I like most don't have time for opinions when they weren't asked for. I know the other aspects and understand them. Had I asked it as how do I increase my rating with a radiator those things would have become relevant.
My intent is not to increase a rating. My intent would be to to keep temps in acceptable to me range while towing thru mountains. And as far as questioning why someone would improve something I'll turn that to to every jeep ever made. Why did you change your wheels, tires, suspension? Because you...
I'd be going from ohio to the east coast. Towing a 263bhxl wildwood TT. Just under 5800 empty. I never fill the tanks and the propane tanks I'll put over the axles inside the trailer along with my spare to keep payload in check. The 24x14s with 35s are right at 120lbs* with the 33s I found I can...
I do appreciate it. However I've seen a couple reviews that show pulling hills/Mountains it gets hot quick evEn under slightly under max. Granted I don't think the hood and grill would do much every little bit helps.
