I have a stock Mojave and I get 12-13 when driving around the city and around 17-19 on Hwy only. Combined I consistently get about 15 mph. This is just using the tool that comes built into the instrument panel.
My drive to work this morning over snow packed roads (and overall sh!t conditions) was pretty_damn_comfortable in my very capable Jeep Gladiator. Couldn't say the rest for most of the other folks on the road.
It may just be me, but I am not seeing anything wrong with your seats. I don't have any issues with mine, but I also understand that it is not top quality leather. I use the Lexol leather cleaner and condition on my seats regularly. Maybe that helps.

I wanted to elaborate on my response. First, I love the Gator color! I would totally own it. I say brown for the sake of ease at doing order pick up. This is such a great color because it is unique and dynamic. You can pull tans, greens, browns, etc. IMO they did such a great job creating...
FWIW there is a huge shortage of truck drivers right now, along with everything lese 🙄. I work in transportation and we are running 20% of the trucks we ran a year and a half ago. You just cant hire anyone to move freight. Could explain your dilemma.
