I had the same problem with my right/passenger rear fender. Tried looking around online (FB, CL, eBay, Wrecking yards, etc) for a Hydro Blue rear fender, with no luck. I broke down and finally bought one from revemoto.com. I paid $660. That was painted with tax and shipping.
I had to reach...
Thought I would provide an update on my fender situation after I finally got the nerve to inspect the damage.
I had forgot about the PPF that was on the fender which did an AMAZING job of protecting the paint. Very impressive stuff! Unfortunately, there were a couple of sections that weren't...
Pretty scraped up and I am assuming some broken attachments. Knowing that I will most likely be forced to paint one regardless, my other option was to see if this one could be repaired.
Just trying to weight the cost between the two (repair or buy new) versus waiting for the right one to pop...
I have an issue with the rear fender (ripped off) on my JTM that I am hoping to get some guidance on.
I really prefer the OEM painted flares (hydro blue) that I currently have. I know the best deal will be to wait for something to pop-up locally, but I don't know if I can wait that long...
I've used it for over a year now and really like it. It should be an option from the factory. As others have said, it's too bright at night on the highest interior light setting, but you can change that.
Also, for some reason mine would reduce the stereo volume while in use with the adaptive...
I was able to keep all the same mounting points on the ceiling, just changed the configuration of the straps. My JKU straps went front to back and out the rear hatch. My JT has the front strap running from driver side to passenger side to support the front. I then went to Home Depot and got...
Best of luck and please keep us up to date on what you find out.
I have used 92 octane since new and still have the issue..... Do you happen to have a throttle response controller? I have seen my issue become less prevalent when I turned mine down a little.
I have had the exact same noise come and go for quite some time now. I haven't bothered taking it to the dealer because it is very inconsistent on when it happens.
6MT and it is usually around 3K RPM's, mostly in 2nd gear, but have heard it in 1st and 3rd too. Would love to know more about...
I wouldn't say any Gladiator. The 4 door Badlands, non-sas I had did NOT drive better than my stock Mojave on 35's. My Mojave soaked up the bumps better, felt more planted and had far less body roll. To be fair, I didn't play with the different driving modes.
I had 2 day 1, first minute...
Wish I had known this when I did my install this Saturday! I ran into the same issue. The instructions even said FINE THREAD bolts, yet the one's provided were not fine thread.
The instructions also say to use 2 drive shaft spacers, even show 2 in the image. Parts list also says they only...
