I have had the exact same noise come and go for quite some time now. I haven't bothered taking it to the dealer because it is very inconsistent on when it happens.

6MT and it is usually around 3K RPM's, mostly in 2nd gear, but have heard it in 1st and 3rd too. Would love to know more about those who have had this issue.
I’m taking mine In tomorrow. At first I thought it was a fuel issue. I changed my oil, ran injector cleaner and ran 89 octane for 2 tanks it went away. Then I went back to 87 octane and it started making the sound again, running 89 octane again and it won’t go away this time and seems to be more noticeable.

Best of luck and please keep us up to date on what you find out.

I have used 92 octane since new and still have the issue..... Do you happen to have a throttle response controller? I have seen my issue become less prevalent when I turned mine down a little.

I've about given up on this issue. Let us know what you find out. Seems to be an mt only issue. Mine has done it since about 2000 miles, intermittently. It hasn't done it in a while. Dealership can never recreate it, since it's so intermittent.

No I don’t have a throttle response controller. Took it in and the dealer won’t look further into it because I didn’t have receipts for where I changed my oil myself. I got the first 2 oils changes at dealership and have been doing oil changes myself

So I've noticed the same issue on my 2022 MT Overland and I think it's the heatshield near the exhaust pipe, since the noice is happening at above 3500 rpm after prolonged driving, which means that the heatshield is expanding just enough to touch the exhaust pipe which will vibrate more and more the faster the engine is spinning. I'm planning on having my dealer inspect and if needed, replace the shielding and bolts.

If you need any extra support while at the dealership, let us know.
