Visually checked what I believe is the problem connection on mine, connector with small red tab in the background of pic below, it doesnāt show any visual signs of excess heat or shorting out. On the 3.0 it is very easy to see, just follow the hose from the bottom of your power steering fluid...
I did the same thing not too long ago𤣠Didnāt make it that far though, noticed it flapping in the wind after 10-15 miles. With all the other warnings, was surprised it didnāt trigger fault code.
If it was well engineered, measurably more effective at shedding heat than the stock pan, and less than $500, I would buy one. Even better, if they made the pan along with a higher capacity/performance oil cooler and sold them as a kit, there would be people lining up for them.
So your logic is that because your experience has been shitty, everyone else who hasnāt experienced the same (regardless of different circumstances, use cases, etc.) must be liars?š¤ In other words, 1+1=3 and if you disagree then 𤬠you.
From everything you described you got a lemon. Sucks for...
The Gen 3 EcoD has a much worse rep than it deserves. Shame the shit show with the Bosch HPFP essentially cut its run short. Mine has similar mileage to yours and has been problem free engine wise other than the HPFP recall, which really wasnāt a problem as the original never failed. As you...
Such bad ass rig you even have diesel haters on here paying you complementsš š¤£
A+++ for the planning and execution, definitely deservingly of the hype video:like:
Because your own personal experience with the 3.6 has been completely trouble freeā¦

Thanks for dropping in to thread crap, diesel troll. Go practice schadenfreude somewhere else.
Strange, I couldnāt get the halos to work as DRLs on auto mode, only when switching to parking light or headlight settings. Not sure why since the harness taps into the fender light harness with wires to trigger all the necessary modes. IMO Oculus Switchbacks seem well made and are very bright...
Agreed, IMO a throttle controller takes out most of the programmed pedal lag. There is still some but way less than pure stock. Worth a try in my opinion, relatively low cost and easy to install/uninstall.
I have over 30k miles on mine and havenāt yet experienced what you describe. Sometimes I can smell the DEF a little immediately after startup as it is warming up but definitely not strong or overwhelming in the cab.
What air intake inlet is that? Wasnāt aware there was a CAI solution like that for the diesel.
Also, love the tires. I want 11.5 wide 35s or 37s when my 285/70R 17 KO2s wear out. How are they from a road noise perspective? I do enough highway driving with a soft top where a loud drone wouldnāt...
Mine does about the same, every 800 miles or so. Must be happening due to a different trigger than SL because with my driving routine SL usually hovers between 25 and 40%. Passive regen alone doesnāt seem to take it below 20% even with extended interstate trips so my guess is the programming...
Wonāt fit, wrong side. Says right in the description it only fits gasoline engines, 3.6L V6 or 2.0L I4. But yes that would be the setup that I would like.
