  1. DIY Mopar LED Headlight Halo Harness

My 2020 had 3 on both sides. 68347117AB added a 4th wire to each side and had to be run back to the BCM to enable the halos. Mopar calls it a jumper, but it is a little more than that in that it runs from the lights all the way into the cab. This is the part that would be included in the...
  2. Gladiator Glamour Shots

A ubiquitous White Rim shot from a recent trip to Moab
  3. AHHHHH!!!!WTF? Aux switch help!

That's a bummer. Is there any reason you couldn't use the ground post next to it? Maybe wire wheel some of the paint off before backing the nut off.
  4. Mopar Performance Rock rail guys

I picked mine up new from someone on CL at a significant discount. Sounds like a common story. They've been great. The finish is top notch and the slight step they create is all my wife and kids need to hop in the truck. I've set the truck down on them once, and you'd never know. Not even a mark...
  5. DIY Mopar LED Headlight Halo Harness

Cheers to you guys for trying to do things the right way. I can’t stand hacked together wiring.
  6. DIY Mopar LED Headlight Halo Harness

Based on my experience, If you lack the 4th wire you will need the harness listed above to get the halos to work. However, I don’t think it would impact the operation of the high beams. You also need to “activate” the LED functionality using something like a Tazer or JScan module (I used...
  7. DIY Mopar LED Headlight Halo Harness

The jumper wire is the missing 4th wire and was all I needed to complete the installation. It’s pre-terminated so it can be added directly to the plugs at the headlights and the BCM in the passenger side footwell. You don’t need to replace the entire harness.
  8. DIY Mopar LED Headlight Halo Harness

    Pretty sure it’s 68347117AB.
  9. Bumper light options

I ran Rigid Dually XL floods on MOPAR light brackets for a while. These were wired to the factory Aux 3 switch. All in all, the setup worked well and looked clean. They were great when I was running the factory halogen headlights. After upgrading to the factory LED headlights, they are less...
  10. Show me your front bumpers!!

ARB classic stubby. This was one of those rare CL finds that was too good to pass up. Installation was a cinch and I like that it fits with the OE steel skidplate from the plastic bumper equipped Rubicons.
  11. DIY Mopar LED Headlight Halo Harness

Sounds like you are on the right track. The fog lights are a direct swap. If you are going the OEM route, make sure you get the harness with the LED DRL/turn signal units. The halogen harness that runs inside the flares is not a direct plug in. You’ll need to pull the fender liners to rerun that...
  12. DIY Mopar LED Headlight Halo Harness

I think you are correct. I definitely didn’t have the 4th wire. I was able to buy the halo harness separately from MOPAR for less than it would have cost me to DIY it. Kind of a pain to install but it works perfectly. I am really happy with the performance of all the OEM LED forward lighting.
  13. Diesel is the best engine option.

My Gladiator is a gasser (the diesel wasn't an option at the time). However, our household's other vehicle is an OM651 powered MB GLK. The torque (370lbft @ 1600 from 2.1L) and noise that vehicle produces is amazing and elevates an otherwise blah vehicle into something unique and special. I...
  14. LED Headlight reflective blindness in Heavy snow

I had a similar experience with the LED headlights on my JK in heavy wildfire smoke.
  15. Best 35" A/T tires

I was really impressed by the Falken Wildpeak AT takeoffs that I ran for a while. But, when it came time for me to jump to 35s, I got a killer deal on a set of BFG KO2s. I also ran them in 34" on my JKU in the past, and they never let me down. I am sure there are other options that perform...
  16. DIY Mopar LED Headlight Halo Harness

From what I could tell, it looks like I have 3 wires on both sides. Passenger side Driver side Looks like at least some 2020s with factory halogens lack the 4th wire.
  17. DIY Mopar LED Headlight Halo Harness

Sounds like I need to pull my headlights and confirm what's there. Nope, now that a few of you have indicated it may already be there, I'm going to pull it apart after work today and look. I'll be sure to report back.
  18. DIY Mopar LED Headlight Halo Harness

My Gladiator is a 2020 Sport S. It was my understanding your needed to add a 4th wire to each headlight harness and route them back to the BCM to activate the Halos on the MOPAR LEDs. I've been bouncing back and forth looking at JL and JT installation writeups under the assumption the headlight...
  19. DIY Mopar LED Headlight Halo Harness

Very interesting. I wasn't aware these types of kits are available. This is a great resource in general, thanks for the insight. I've also come to realize that the harness from the MOPAR kit is available as a separate part. 68347117AB Getting my hands on one might be a challenge, but at...
  20. DIY Mopar LED Headlight Halo Harness

It never ceases to amaze me what you all know, so I'm throwing this hail mary out there. Due to supply shortages I can't get my hands on a MOPAR LED Headlight retrofit kit, so I am attempting the DIY route. I have everything except the harness that runs between the headlights and the BCM that...
