Hello fellow Gladiator lovers!
My brother and I are planning a multi day trip following the “Outlaw Trail” from Southwest Colorado up thru Western Utah and up to Wyoming (For those not familiar, this is the route used in the late 1800s-early 1900’s by many wanted and known outlaws of the day...
Is this limited to the diesels? I have had similar intermitant "service shifter" messages on my '21 with the 3.6L. Seems to happen when very wet from rain. Just wondering if this could be the same or similar issue?
Ordered one thru Off Road Warehouse (they apparently are a 3rd party supplier, even though RSI lists them as an “authorized dealer”) in May of ’22. Was told then that it would be about 6 months. Their supplier told them in November ‘22 that it would be delivered by end of December. Then January...
Love my sting grey rubicon with saddle brown. Wish Jeep would have matched the steering wheel, dash, console and armrests with matching color, instead of black. Would look really sharp! But I do love the saddle brown!
Ok, time for update! The problem turned out to be a broken shifter, part #3 in the attached photo. Not sure how that happened in the time frame between being parked in my garage for a week before I got in it to drive (nobody had access to a locked Jeep!). It mysteriously broke itself! Took...
So it turns out the shifter is broken inside the mechanism. Not sure how that happened with it just sitting there for a week...and I am definitely not that guy that is hard on the shifter.
To make matters worse, dealer cannot find parts, not even on backorder from Jeep. Just plain not available...
Ok. The driver did release the solenoid. I did not know it could be driven at that point! Guess I will know if it happens again! I will repost when dealer gives me a diagnosis/fix. Hopefully Jeep will reimburse my $255 tow bill. I think they will since this is covered by warranty.
This morning I started my 2021 Gladiator, let it warm up a few minutes and shifted to ”Drive”…and nothing happened. The check engine light came on and I got a “Service Shifter” message on display. Would not go into any gear, just locked into “Park”. 8 speed automatic with 8400 miles less than a...
I am running a Clayton 2.5” premium lift with the Falcon 3.3 adjustable shocks, 17” Method wheels with 35” Falken M/T tires. Stance and set up is great. Get a LOT of compliments from fellow Jeep fans. Ride is fantastic and the ability to change shock setting for different conditions is easy and...
I have the Clayton 2.5" premium lift and am running the Falcon 3.3 Adjustable shocks. I find the adjustment easy, and quite noticable between the settings, something I never noticed on other brands with "adjustment". Very happy with the Falcons!
I went with the BuiltRight set up using their rails, front and sides. I modified the attachment hardware because theirs just seemed kinda cheesy. I cut 1/4" thick 1.5" squares, drilled and tapped them and used stainless bolts for fasteners. They are VERY solid. I have a jack, shovel, and two...
Sound like "California transplant" drivers!
But seriuosly, I ran my JT out to Ocotillo Wells OHV a few weeks ago and ran with a group about 45 Toyota guys (San Diego club). They were nothing but nice and welcomed me to join up with them. Got TONS of complents on my Gladaiator and made a bunch...
