Well I have to this to the Jeep Customer Service, they have keep in contact and today I received a upgraded/extended warranty plan, but does it ease the wounds of the current issue
Update - Jeep Customer service got involved, but current projection is the end of July to get a warranty steering pump to the dealer. She also confirmed the gearbox TSB is applicable to my Gladiator.
No change
Dealer said my 2020 Gladiator is not applicable for TSB on the steering gearbox replacement.
contacted the Jeep Customer Group as I don't trust this dealer.
Well I just had to see the thing, checked the two plugs and like my father always give it a tap. Bang it cleared and I have power steering, but for how long? PS the dealer but in wver other screw and bolt. Off to the hardware store.
Another data point is the failure seems to start with intermediate loss of power steering at low speed, like backing up, no fault, then after continuing driving, the fault locks in and you better pray its not in a curve.
Ok at first I thought this was too simplistic, but the fuse had a different head then the others, was hard to get out and the blades where a different configuration from the installed spares. I installed a spare and will give if 15 minutes to allow for discharge.
New to the forum and first time Jeep owner with a 2020 Gladiator. At 14k miles sterring pump died, ok life's not prefect, but it took seven weeks to get a new one, then today, 7 days later it died at 65mph, and lets just say, hard to steer is an understatement.
The dealer said oh yeah there is...
