  1. 35s on Mojave with stock wheels.

Do you mind posting a pic of this setup? I am thinking of getting the same thing for my Rubicon when the tires wear down.
  2. 6MT Clutch opinions

🤣, this is true, I did cut my hand up but still worth it.
  3. 6MT Clutch opinions

Have you done the clutch recall yet? If not, you can get a new clutch from Jeep for free. It may feel a little better since it will be new and I think they made some slight revisions since 2021. Plus, it will save you a lot of $$$. If you do stay with the factory clutch, I recommend that you...
  4. Manual Transmission Gladiator to be revived

A lot of the manual trans hate is due to the factory gearing. I had a 2021 JT Mojave manual and it felt wrong with the 4.10 gears and stock 33s. Gaps between gears were to big and 6th gear was not usable without over lugging the engine. Now, in addition to my Auto JT, we have a JLU rubicon...
  5. Manual Transmission Gladiator to be revived

Hopefully this is true and even better if they offer the 4.88 option with the Manual trans like the wranglers. If they do, I will order one.
  6. Mold in CLEAN 2023 Gladiator - PNW

Did it smell prior to being at the dealership and just get worse when you picked it up? or is the smell completely new? If new, maybe something happened at the dealership - for example windows left open in the rain, etc… and then water sitting in the floor pans. I would check the carpets and...
  7. 4.56 gears

We have a JLU with the 4.88 gear option. Had to custom order it. The 4.88s are perfect with the stock 33s and manual transmission. Personally, I wouldn’t consider 4.56 gears. If regearing - I would go 4.88s for 35s, 5.13s for 37s.
  8. The Gladiator can fit 4 bikes on a bed rack

I'm using the Rhino Rack bars for a cap/topper. These are the ones I have on: Rhino Rack Y02-490B-NT One criticism of these bars: As they have gotten older, the Rhino Rack clips jam up when trying to remove the bars. I basically need to use pliers instead of my fingers to pop the clips...
  9. Florida 2002 Jeep Wrangler Sahara

I have been looking at TJs in NJ over the past 6 months and the prices vary a lot. The market here may be different than Florida, but the biggest factors are: 1. Rust on frame and floor pans - Check under carpets, undercarriage, around body mounts and frame especially in the back. If there is...
  10. The Gladiator can fit 4 bikes on a bed rack

You do need to alternated the direction of each bike so handlebars don’t hit each other
  11. The Gladiator can fit 4 bikes on a bed rack

I figured I would post this in case anyone was wondering how many bikes could fit on a bed rack set up. I had always just had 2 bikes and then a hirch carrier for 2 more. I got 2 extra roof rack bike carriers this weekend to try it out. 4 bikes fit well. I think 5 would be pushing it. I have...
  12. 25 Years of Softopper!

Good advice for Softopper, I saw that Taco and thought I accidentally clicked into the 4GTacoma forum! Sweet looking Gladiator, what lift/tires do you have on that? I like the look with the stock wheels but bigger tires.
  13. Just purchased a gladiator!

Congrats! Maxtow is a great package. Katskin makes leather seats for Wranglers and Gladiators. They usually are reasonably priced if you find a good installer near you. I also recommend keeping it stock for a bit to see what you really need. A lot of people go crazy with a big lift, tires...
  14. 35s on Mojave with stock wheels.

I live in Monmouth County - Upper Freehold, Just outside of Allentown, NJ
  15. 35s on Mojave with stock wheels.

That looks great! Did you go with the Bilsteins or Fox Shocks with the Mopar lift?
  16. 35s on Mojave with stock wheels.

If you don't mind, can you post some pics of this setup? I am considering going to those tires since they are Load "C" and narrow enough for the stock wheels. I am also wondering about how much lift is needed, I was thinking I could get away with just some 3/4" pucks on the springs to save some...
  17. 2025 Mojave bed cover and rails plus ski transport questions

I found a pic I had from this summer with the Thule racks. And, this is my setup with the basket. It is a Yakima Skinny Warrior and clamps on to the rails. I use it when on vacation to add some extra cargo space:
  18. 2025 Mojave bed cover and rails plus ski transport questions

Thule Proride XT - I use them in the T-Slots on the Rhino Rack. They have worked well. I don’t know if I would get them again though. They are mostly plastic and after a couple years of use, they feel less sturdy. I worry that the locking mechanism will wear out and the bike will fall out...
  19. 2025 Mojave bed cover and rails plus ski transport questions

This is a pic of my setup. Those are small ski holders on the end(I use them for fishing poles). I also have room for a basket I use sometimes or my Mountain bike holders.
  20. 2025 Mojave bed cover and rails plus ski transport questions

You can get a tonneau cover with T-slot rails. Retractable will allow for you to open and close the cover with low cross bars. I have the following combo: 1. Rugged Ridge Retractable tonneau with T-slot rails. I believe it is a rebadged Roll-N-Lock cover. When I bought it, it was $300 less...
