The Gladiator can fit 4 bikes on a bed rack

I figured I would post this in case anyone was wondering how many bikes could fit on a bed rack set up. I had always just had 2 bikes and then a hirch carrier for 2 more. I got 2 extra roof rack bike carriers this weekend to try it out. 4 bikes fit well. I think 5 would be pushing it.
I have a Tonneau with T-Slot Cover and Thule Roof rack bike racks. I took some pics below with the 4 racks on. I had just 3 bikes on at the time, but a 4th fits well:

You do need to alternated the direction of each bike so handlebars don’t hit each other

I'm using the Rhino Rack bars for a cap/topper. These are the ones I have on:
Rhino Rack Y02-490B-NT

One criticism of these bars:
As they have gotten older, the Rhino Rack clips jam up when trying to remove the bars. I basically need to use pliers instead of my fingers to pop the clips together so they can remove. This isn't an issue if you leave the bars on all the time. But if you frequently remove them for big items to fit in the bed, it could be an issue. Aside from that, I am happy with them.

Alternative bars from Yakima might not have this issue (I have some other Yakima products and they seem really well engineered)
