  1. Naming your jeep

Anny. Because it is an 80th anniversary. My last wrangler was blue. Because it was blue.
  2. Bronco truck is DEAD

Oh I definitely don't hate the bronco. I love that sasquatch can be had on any trim. I also dig the trail turn assist. Storage for the doors, etc. Yes, consumer will win as jeep and ford try to out do each other. I am happy only one truck in the space though, as not sure if room for two.
  3. Bronco truck is DEAD

Glad this caused (mostly) civil conversation! I agree, we need competition. I would be bummed if the bronco folded. My concern with a bronco truck, was too many convertible fun trucks, one may fold. I am not a Ford fan (driven them for years, have my reasons). I would be bummed if the...
  4. Bronco truck is DEAD

News: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/the-bronco-pickup-has-been-cancelled-❌.22444/ I look at this as a good thing! Not because I hate the bronco, but I love the gladiator. It being the only midsize convertible truck means it's sales will hopefully be strong enough it continues into...
  5. Loonggg trip in a gladiator? Yes!!!

If you have time devil's tower is a must. If you enjoy waterfalls, take the spearfish canyon byway. Bridal falls is right off the road. Another waterfall is a short walk from a lodge/restaurant (only one you will pass). A third is a mile trip up a dirt road right by the same lodge. Badlands...
  6. Loonggg trip in a gladiator? Yes!!!

Yes, it was cool, but I enjoyed devil's tower more.
  7. 3-Week National Park Tour (w/ pics)

Awesome! Mine is stock, and not max tow but should be fine then. Which trail did you bump tail on? And we talking the hitch, exhaust, or body damage?
  8. 3-Week National Park Tour (w/ pics)

Really want to know how it did on those trails?? Modified or stock??
  9. Loonggg trip in a gladiator? Yes!!!

So, did a week traveling to the black hills/badlands)devil's tower. Mostly scenic drives, mostly pavement. Few gravel, some less maintained then others. No serious off roading this trip. Was super comfortable with wife and two dogs. Zero issues with that many hours or miles. Jeep was a...
  10. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

Took it to the badlands national park. Ended up having a picnic on the tailgate at sunset.
  11. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

Been playing around the black hills. Took it to mt Rushmore (no pic), devil's tower, and crazy horse. Also Custer state park and needles highway. Badlands national park coming soon!
  12. Campers!! What you pulling with your jt, or reasonable overland bed camper??

Building that is above my skill level! How was pulling that weight with the sport? That would be a good comparison to what I want to do
  13. Campers!! What you pulling with your jt, or reasonable overland bed camper??

Yes, I am aware it will be different. Technically the anniversary is based on a sport s, but option wise seems closer to an overland to me as well. I am trying to gauge what would be safe, as my current trailer (never pulled it with the jt, but did with my JK Rubicon and my jl 2.0t) is under...
  14. FREE onx trail navigation??

I just read an article talking about all 21 jeeps getting a 6 month trial free to this service. Anybody know anything about this?? Sounds like it could be a cool deal, but I wouldn't pay $99 a year unless I tried it and liked it.
  15. Campers!! What you pulling with your jt, or reasonable overland bed camper??

If not to much to ask, would likely be to see a pic of camp setup, attached room, loo location, etc. Something like that may be an option.
  16. Campers!! What you pulling with your jt, or reasonable overland bed camper??

Lol, they do. I could too. But my wife.....eh not sure on that yet.
  17. Campers!! What you pulling with your jt, or reasonable overland bed camper??

Is that a max tow package? And pulls ok, meaning no issues, or gets the job done but is scary as hell?
  18. 4 auto selec track....

I agree. In my worst case my tires were pretty worn. It definitely makes it worse with the water channels shot. But, I have hyro many a car with good tires as well. Rear wheel drive light cars, wide tires since I was 18 do that easy. The worst instance anything over 40 felt like ice. But...
  19. 4 auto selec track....

Perfect! Dining wet raining roads, just set it on, forget it, and keep trucking. I can live without a little mpg for piece of mind.
  20. 4 auto selec track....

Living in northern Kansas, I understand all to well the weather you are talking about!! And yes, I have hydroplaned at low speeds like that. Once, on some tires that were getting bad my ol vette had to get off the interstate. My choice was drive so slow I was a hazard, or skate the back like...
