  1. 4 auto selec track....

Right, but, if the back shells go on top of water, the front can still help. It won't prevent, but can make the experience better. As far as to fast, I have done it at really low speeds, but obviously it wasn't dangerous. A light vehicle, really wide tires, is a really bad recipe to...
  2. 4 auto selec track....

Yes, I will definitely vuse it in winter. Our roads get really patchy with snow thanks to wind. More curious about appropriate speed with system in to see if it can be used in rain/wet. I have gone hydroplaning in a vette a few too many times. Light truck bed over power wheels seems to be a...
  3. 4 auto selec track....

So no worries about speed? I thought about using it in just rain, or any wet to help prevent the truck from hydroplaning. It never has, but I have plenty of times in other rear wheel drive cars, and not my favorite thing. Just concerned about being in 4 wheel auto while doing 70.
  4. 4 auto selec track....

So, this is new to me. Both my JK and jl just had 4 low and 4 hi. Simple, I didn't use 4 hi if I felt good driving over 45 or so. 4 low, I only used off road. Jt has 4 auto. I guess I could just use it all the time, at any speed. (I won't). Also, it seems to shift from 4 auto to 4 high...

  10. Bluetooth speaker?? What do you use?

How does it fit in the original spot? Or where do you keep it?
  11. Bluetooth speaker?? What do you use?

So, my jt didn't come with the optional b.t. speaker. Curious what y'all use thatsy fit in the same convenient spot, would work well for camping, tailgating, picnic, etc etc. I really like the idea, but adding the jeep one late appears to suck and be expensive. Also, heard the speaker has a...

If I ever do get one, kitchen, sleeping, bathroom all in basic form Is what I want. And light/small as possible. I don't want big.
  13. Campers!! What you pulling with your jt, or reasonable overland bed camper??

That is a huge pop up! Assuming full of creature comforts? What kind of gas mileage pulling it? Also, max tow or regular tow package?
  14. Has anyone "doggified" their entire rear section?

I just fold seats forward. Use either the seat back latches, or the latch anchors to secure dog too. Put a cover down to catch the hair, and done.
  15. Campers!! What you pulling with your jt, or reasonable overland bed camper??

This was part of why I made the post. See the setups now, so hopefully in 4 or 5 years I can look at getting one!!
  16. So what did you name your Gladiator?

  17. Campers!! What you pulling with your jt, or reasonable overland bed camper??

Need more details! Pics of inside, how do you access? Does roof freedom panels still come off? How did this effect mpg? Weight? I like this type setup with no ladder.
  18. Campers!! What you pulling with your jt, or reasonable overland bed camper??

Wife thinks she wants to camp. I hope so. If a few trips go well, I might want to get something a little more luxurious than the home made (not by me) overland trailer I have. So, show me what you are pulling! For the record, jt 80th, tow (not max). If correct, 6000 lb limit. Come on...
  19. BRIGHT WHITE Gladiator JT Club

So far can't beat it. Owned it exactly 1 week, put 1k miles on it lol. It is going out of town this weekend too! Gladiator is putting in work!
  20. My purchase is coming down to Overland Selec-Trac w LSD -vs- Rubicon Rock-Trac

Have you thought of anniversary edition? It gives lots of the comfort features of the overland, the tech, and can get selec Trac. Not sure if it is available in Australia, but if it is might be worth a look. Otherwise, all being equal, I would likely go Rubicon just for the lockers.
