2000 rpm is spot on for me too I live in hilly Pittsburgh. It took about 5000 miles for everything in the transmission to really settle in. Been driving a manual for the past 20 years and was surprised how long it took for me to settle in with the transmission, but all is well now. I love it

I am very close to buying the slammer. I have 2 seemingly obvious questions: 1) Does the seat still slide forward and backward? 2) the seat also has a height adjustment, does that still work with the slammer? (That may seem like a dumb question since I'm sure we all have it at its lowest setting)

I took a shortcut and just tinted mine. Spent a lot of money on LED headlights, fog lights as well as taillights. The tint worked well for me.

Update to original post. I took it to the dealer after the steering wheel had been on for 30 min and it was barely warm and they agreed to order a new one. We will wait and see.

Nice to see another manual transmission!! I have done that with the top down and 45 deg out. It's just that I was excited about the heated seats and steering wheel. The seats are great, the steering wheel not so much

Thanks for the feedback. I did have the dealer check it with my 1st oil change and they said it was fine but I'm gonna need to push to have them replace it.

I am very disappointed in my heated steering wheel. The question I have is does your heated steering wheel get warm and then stay that same warm temp the whole time it is on? Mine occasionally gets warm but it never stays warm. Is this normal?

Although I too am duckless and feeling some sort of way about it, I have to admit I have not given out any ducks.... However the 6 pack thing has me thinking.....
