I have had them rotated without it making a difference. I was thinking about the rear axles being off center prior, but I can’t really see how that would make a difference either.
I am going to try this. I normally do it with my right elbow on the center arm rest. Can’t hurt to get into a new habit. When I’m going faster than I should be I normally have left elbow on door sill and right on center arm rest for a somewhat stabilizing effect that makes me feel more in control.
Thank you for that! I have had the steering wheel centered twice. It’s still off a bit and a real pain to get right because you have to actually put it slightly off center and then tighten because while tightening it will move the wheel slightly. Maybe I need to adjust the wheel slightly to...
That’s the thing. Mine is worse 40-50 and on up. A long highway drive is actually really tiring. I am actually wanting to figure out how to adjust for crown and make a slight adjustment at this point because I can’t think of anything else to do. I have had other wrangler style vehicles, 2dr JK...
Thank you for that insight, hadn’t thought about using the neighborhood roads driving the wrong direction. I’ll give that a try when I can later. Tire pressures seem dead on and all equal. This is my 4th wrangler style vehicle but the first pickup variation. I would have thought the extended...
I’m getting somewhat frustrated. My Jeep wanders/veers right. It requires constant slight left input on the steering wheel to maintain a straight track. I understand that road crown will cause this to happen to some extent especially in the US, but this is more than it’s been in the past...
Is there a break in period for these? I had them installed by a shop and the Jeep is pulling to the right. They were the recommended installed ball joint, they also did an alignment. They said there could be a bit of a period where they might stick a bit. Is this normal and how long typically...
Agreed. They said turnaround time is about 10 days right now. That's assuming they do a good-faith repair/replacement. Maybe I can find someone in the area that has replaced theirs and might sell their factory stabilizer so I can still drive. Such an inconvenience!
As the title suggests. The adjustment screw won't turn. It's so frozen I broke the tip off a screw driver trying to adjust. Anybody have one of these and experience the adjustment screw freezing? Anybody find a fix? I'm a couple months out of warranty of course, and also really can't afford to...
Awesome! I already have the first one. How did you actually tap into it? I was thinking of ordering this:
Tekonsha 2 to 3 Taillight Converter for Connecting Tow Vehicles w/2 Wire Systems to Towed Vehicles w/3 Wire Systems https://a.co/d/iCb5iBs
Seems to cancel out the turn signals.
Just joined the club. A lot of good info in here. Anyone think this solution could work for the canopy brake light? I’d rather tap into the trailer wiring than the tail light or tailgate wiring. I bought a T connector so I could return everything to untapped stock.
