Methanol/water injection has been mentioned a couple of times in the past on this thread. I’m curious if anyone ever actually did it and if it helped at all with our cooling issues?
Looking at the coolant lines going into the oil cooler, one comes from the block under the exhaust manifolds and the other goes to the egr cooler. I used the line coming from the block. I tried to get my temp gun in there to get a solid delta T but it’s way to tight. Logic tells me supply...
Thanks, I tried coming out of the water side of the oil cooler into an auxiliary cooler and only saw about a 3* difference while towing. I used one of Derale’s larger coolers.
I’m now skeptical that Bulletproof’s larger radiator is going to make a difference.
Power tank all the way, 37’s in under thirty seconds, air tools, and take it with you with your primary vehicles.
Unless you’re on a two week trip airing down every day you are fine on a 10lb bottle
I’ve been running 4.56’s for a year now, they definitely make the towing experience nicer and crawling off road, however around town and on the highway I feel like they are to low and I’m on 37’s. If I were to do it all over again I’d go 4.10’s
It appears that the inlet is the nozzle is the one with the 90* turn, it’s comes directly from the block. The outlet goes around the back of the engine to what I’m guessing is the egr cooler (key word is guessing, I can’t actually see where the line terminates). Outside diameter of the hose is...
