When I bought mine, there wasn't much information on them. If I could turn back time, I'd go with a normal Rubicon 4:1. I have had no issues with mine. But, I try and keep the fluid changed in it, and I drive in 2wd 90% of the time. The 392 folks don't have that luxury.
If you go with the auto transfer case, make sure you change the transfer case fluid often. Drive in 2wd as much as possible. People are having a tons of trouble with these crapping the bed especially in the 392s where they can't put it in 2wd.
The vast majority of stealerships are shady AF. Oil changes on these Jeeps are so easy and quick that I'm not sure why you would waste your time taking them in.
I run RK 3.5 inch upfront and 4.5 inch coils out back because I wanted to maintain the rake for towing.
Nitto TGs 37x12.5. Measure a hair under 6’8” at the highest point on the roof.
Wow. I’ve been meaning to do this for about 15K miles. I don’t know if it matters. But I used Amsoil. Let me tell you my transmission has never shifted this smoothly. I’m about 1K post new fluid.
All I can say is whether you use OEM or something else, change your ATF sooner than you think.
