They only sell it complete with the axle.

Can't seem to find just the rubber boot. What do you guys suggest? I don't wanna buy the whole axle.

A worn down lobe on the camshaft causing the misfire I was told by the dealer. What kind of engineering is that !!??

That's the code I got when my CEL came up. Not happy about that. No warranty, 70 K miles. Dealer says he has to inspect the camshaft, timing components etc. I have a feeling it won't be cheap. At this mileage is this common ?? TIA

Can't find CV boots to buy separately anywhere. The left side is mangled. The dealer doesn't sell the boot separately only the whole shaft assembly fir $800 Any ideas where to get a pair. Thanks in advance.

I noticed today my steering dampener is leaking oil. Is this a common issue? '21 Rubicon 50k miles. Should I replace it with OEM or do you recommend something better?? TIA.

It's the EGR valve. Will be covered under warranty ( even though I'm 3 k miles over the bumper to bumper warranty. A thousand dollar job.

As I said above the code is P 1404. "EGR closed position performance" said the code reader. How to go about it ? Dealer? Easy fix ? Expensive?

Code P 1404. "EGR closed position performance" said the code reader and the MIL light came on, also the start stop isn't working. Apparently when the check engine light comes on the stop start stops working so I'm not worried about that. I am about the EGR though. '21 Rubicon, about 50k miles...

The code is P1404. "EGR close position performance" was the readout. Is it an easy fix???

Talk to the dealer on the phone and he said that when the CEL comes up the start stop automatically comes up and stops working.

Thx, it just happened today when I came home and unhooked my boat, so no I didn't do any checking. The engine is running normal, so say if there would be a misfire would that not be noticeable of how the engine is running?

I don't know, battery replacement after two years, seems kinda ridiculous. The CEL is what concerns me more, I was wondering If anybody knows for sure whether they are related.

The CEL came on at the same time as the stop start light. Did you look at the picture?

This came on today. What could be the cause? The start stop would bring on the CEL? Thx.
