I suppose that could be done although you would need some very good airflow. If I had a cap I may have put it in the bed uncovered. I can count on one hand the number of times someone has sat back there in five years so removing the rear seats was not a big deal for me. I can store alot of gear...
Thanks. As I mentioned before in a couple posts , gear can be stored under the platform and I have a second level built, I'm just waited for it to warm up so I can paint it. Cheers.
I understand what your saying but I found the best way to secure the platform was to use the existing seat mounting bolts which means it needs to be raised. . The platform is raised about 6" and is open ended. The allows me to store tools, recovery gear, jack, etc underneath. The second level...

If it takes a hit an aluminum TR will spring back in shape. I had a Rockrawler aluminum TR on my JK and bashed them on the rocks many times with no damage. There are some vids online of guys intentionally trying to damage them but they just spring back to shape.
The higher PSi your running in the MT might contribute to the slight increase is MPG. I'm surprised they ride smoother then the AT's at 40-42PSi. That seems high to me. No complaints here with my 37" Boss AT's. I run them at 32Psi.
I'm happy with mine. With normal grass trimming I'm able to leave it on low speed and easily get around my 1acre property with battery left. I use the shoulder strap which helps with the weight. I can't remember if I bought that separate or if it came with the trimmer.
