Thanks for showing the Metra bracket! I was looking at the other one to mount radio control boxes under my seat but didn't want to spend $250 on a bent piece of steel.
I'm banning my wife from Facebook Marketplace.
It took 3 of us and a hydraulic lift cart to get it in, and 4 of us to get it back out. And of course, she needed for it to go up a step. The pot weighs at least 500lbs and the tree alone was another 200-300lbs. The tree did get strapped...
Don't have a lot of mods yet but my Tazer was #1 must have if only for it turning off the license plate lights when you go into reverse. Who ever thought pointing the license plate lights directly at the camera so all you see is bright blinding light whenever you back up at night needs to be fired.
I don't see piping for an air/air intercooler. Probably has an air/water intercooler on top like BMW has done with the B58, which is far superior for many obvious reasons.
The US got it in 2019 but the same model existed since 2011 basically unchanged. Ford just finally brought it here in 2019 because they wanted a tiny sliver of the Tacoma market, which I think they've done pretty well given how old the design was, especially in the fleet market taking a chunk...
The current outgoing model is already a 10+ years old design (2011 ROW, 2019 in the US) and it shows. The new one is only just hitting the market here in the US for 2024. People have been talking about the 2024 being a newer model for at least a couple years now which drives 2023 sales off the...
The 4A mode seems great, but I bought my '19 2nd Gen Raptor because it had a 4A mode and I had nothing but problems with it, the hubs kept grenading themselves and it wouldn't go in to any 4 wheel mode and would make whirring/grinding noises whenever you drove it, even in 2WD. And getting the...
Can you get some pictures of your rear hatch and the opening side windows? The big reason I want to do an RSI/AluCab/RLD is because of the opening sides, but truth be told, I prefer the look of the ARE and liked the ARE I had on my Raptor a lot. Opening side windows would help push my decision...
You can’t even get OBD monitor apps to work over CarPlay or Android Auto.
Changing the head unit doesn’t change if an app is compatible with CarPlay/AndroidAuto. The only thing I could imagine it would allow is screen mirroring which has its own drawbacks.
I have a 2020 with 7800 miles right now that I just got at 6k ish miles. It creaks all over. Worse with a load, also bad with the tonneau cover open. I’m guessing it’s the shocks, the rears in my Raptor also made a lot of noise especially when cold, but the Raptor was more sound-proofed so...
