I have this thing: Tyger Step
I actually got it because I live somewhere with awful drivers and if one of them decides to smash into me while playing on their phone and not pay attention in front of them, then congrats, they've totalled their car.
But I use it all the time as a step to hop...
I would actually be perfectly fine with ASS if it just remembered what you had it set to when you start it up. I always turn it off right after I start my truck, but if there are people who actually want it, then more power to them.
Realistically it's probably just worth the kbb price for any other Rubicon for that year and mileage plus maybe a couple hundred extra dollars if someone is actually aware of what it is.
While all (most?) of us here love our Gladiators, they weren't exactly the hit that Jeep was wanting them to...
Storage thingy
It's not that specific one, but it's something like that. It just sits between my kids in the back. Also the Hacky Sack appeared inside it one day a couple of years ago, and it's been there ever since haha. Neither kid claims ownership.
I have a little storage thingy that sits between the two backseats. In it I always have: medkit, umbrella, toilet paper, wet wipes, kleenex, a kite, and a hacky sack
I had mine done about a month after getting my gladiator. It’s coming up on 6 years soon, and it looks the exact same as when they first installed it. I’ve thrown a bunch of things back there and it hasn’t even gotten a scratch.
Yep, and let's be honest, how many Gladiator owners are actually even towing with these things? I'd easily make a bet that it's under 10%, maybe even 5%.
Instead of a ball hitch permanently installed, I have a giant hunk of metal that on paper is considered a step, but in reality is a "if you rear end me because you aren't paying attention, I'm going to total your car"
Yeah. It started off at about $70-$80 when I first got the truck and has gone up over the years, and finally yesterday it was over $100. That was the final nail in the coffin for me starting to do my own oil changes. I can do them for under $50...
I took my truck in yesterday for an oil change. I've always run 0W-20, but my warranty just finished up, so I decided to switch to 5W-30, and the oil change place actually refused to use it. I was already there so I had them just do the normal 0W-20, but I'll probably just switch to doing it...
I have a theory that cold air intakes are the gateway drug into DIY mods. It's easy enough that pretty much anyone can install one, but requires enough work that it makes you think "Hey, if I can do this I do that"
And like fancy air filters, I don't think they actually do anything other than...
As someone who used to make gasoline... I just get mine from walmart or where ever is cheapest. There are definitely better detergents and additives in "top tier" gas stations, but I just throw in a bottle of techron every few months, and everything is fine.
That guy probably thinks he's...
