ok thanks, yeah i had it submit logs/error this morning while trying to trouble shoot it, hopefully she doesn't just delete their reply like she does for most emails, i'll try those settings out when she gets home, i had start/stop on because of mopars idiotic decision to leave usb ports powered...
what settings are you using in your wrangler, got my wife an aawireless after the motorola ma1 i put in her gladiator started being very unreliable (the aawireless i have in my chevy has been almost flawless)
got it plugged in and finally setup after a couple tries last night, did two power...
they might just be saying the diesel driven of those models as well as gas, since diesel is in most of the model line but the mojave/392/4xe all have the different cowls but all the rest are the same regardless of drive train
to the best of my understanding, all the body parts are the same from the rear doors forward on jt/jl for all models EXCEPT the mojave, 392, and possibly the 4xe because like you pointed out, they have a different hood and cowl than everything else (drivetrain agnostic)
if you scroll down...
here's a link for the actual cowl piece for a 21 diesel overland, and it mates up for everything except mojave and 392 not sure why that light mount is listed as such but in the 9ish months i've been looking at parts for the wifes jt, everything says the diesels are standard jl body parts...
I don't believe that's true, got the gravity 6 bar with mounts for wifes overland diesel and they fit just fine (and are listed as not for the 392 or mojave)
it's all good fam, i didn't take it that way, unfortunately being home alone there was no good way to check for voltage at the horn with no one to lay on the horn while i was checking :D
yeah i tried that, i talked to the people who make the horn kit they said that both lines will show as grounded until you hit the horn, then the grey/yellow wire goes hot, so i'll just take their word for it and wire it up in morning as such once i find a place to put the horns in the cramped...
how? trying to wire in a small air horn setup for wife and i can't figure out the wiring to save my life, there's a black and grey/green wire, and both show as 'ground' with a multimeter on both horns
