I was going to call Cold Case again and actually press them for some kind of tech data, but they are on the east coast and closed. Can you trust a cooling system builder from the east coast where there are no heat issues? ?

All these guys gotta do is get one of us technical guys who load their truck in temps 110°+ to report our results here and they would sell dozens immediately (Assuming the findings are favorable). Where are the You Tube influencers that get the free shit when you need one? Makes me think they wont do any good........

doesn't the ERG have some sort of taps on it that push coolant through it? Can you just splice into that tap add a deraler hyper cooler to the outlet side of the egr cooler and bring the coolant temps down before it goes back into the radiator? My thought is the egr or turbo is what is getting nailed and can't shed heat fast enough.

Anyone have a coolant system diagram or oil system diagram? that would go a long way to help understand the systems and look for solutions.

Until you see someone mount an aux oil cooler in the bed trophy truck style there will be no fix. Although I still suspect those that deleted no longer have overheating issue.

It's only ugly when it isn't paint matched? jk... it's ugly.. but will it work?

Edit: not compatible with 392 or mojave models, which means it won't work with ours because of the unique cowls.
diesel has unique cowls?

Yep, I learned it when I went to buy the oem cowl light mounts. Diesel has the same ones as the 392 JL and Mojave JT.

I don't believe that's true, got the gravity 6 bar with mounts for wifes overland diesel and they fit just fine (and are listed as not for the 392 or mojave)

Pretty sure this has already been done and they are different part numbers.

Funny how we're just going full circle again in these threads without a solution.........If it were an easy fix, the engineers would have done it at the factory and gave it a 8,000lb tow rating to beat everyone else in the segment.
There has to be some similarities to gen two and gen 3.

This bypass kit changes the filter element & cap of the gen 3 to a gen 2 to provide a bypass solution.
