No airbags deployed. The appraiser was confused about how the side air bags didn’t deploy considering it was on its side. I just said, “it’s a Jeep thing, you wouldn’t understand.”
Yeah I talked to the adjuster on the phone today. Obviously he has to check it out but sounds like he doesn’t want to touch it with a 10 foot pole. Especially after hearing about the engine details.
This area is very close to my house and only this 1/8” mile section is this narrow and steep. I...
Yes sir! After we made sure everyone was okay, we had a good laugh at the fact that I’ve needed to get the cracked windshield fixed for 3 months but I didn’t want to pay that $500 deductible. Problem solved ?
Yes, the poll is just for fun!
I was hoping I might find a person or two that might have advice dealing with insurance on less “obvious” mechanical issues. We’ll see, might not even need to go down that road.
Honestly, the jeep looked much better than expected based on how it looked when I showed up. But, who knows now days. We had a Grand Cherokee get totaled out from what I would have considered a fender bender.
Everyone is safe! Humor us, the poll is just for fun. My wife rolled her Jeep today on a narrow road with steep drop offs. Wondering what everyone’s thoughts are on the extent of the damage. It was a pretty low speed accident (<30mph). My wife said the accelerator was pinned so it ran while on...
Okay, so I’ve tried searching every combination of keywords to find out if anyone else has had this issue without luck… anyone have this piece of trim on the steering wheel crack or break off at these locations? Same exact thing happened on my 2022 Gladiator and my wife’s 2021 Wrangler.
If so...
37” KM3 on 4.10s is fine for me. But, I have a 3 minute, 35 mph daily commute; plenty of torque in 4-low with the 8-speed on the trail; still see 8th at 70 on flat ground. If I was towing, I’d go 5.13s. Power Commander + adjusting the tire size made is negligible for me.
