yeah, I wonder if some of the re-leaks have a specific part in common. Hoping neither of us has that issue. Not sure why my dealer went with that part over any other I figure maybe it’s a good thing that it is listed wrangler first

I checked with service and it is the right axle shaft being replaced. I will still post part # and build dates when done.

And I totally mean that as in he probably just used the words right, rear, and housing and I took it wrong. My knowledge of axles is limited to simple boat trailers

I just swear that’s what the service guy said and I thought the whole idea of just a right housing odd but honestly did not go any further. I will post the part number after they swap.

So, update on mine. Mine started leaking in December and as some may recall I temporarily solved the issue by swapping the diff vent. I knew it would not be a permanent solution and during the wait even swapped back to the gore vent. As a side note, I could swap to the gore vent and in a day...

Completely anecdotal but I have not seen a June 21 date with a leak in my reading yet. Fingers crossed for you.

I know this is a point of contention for some, but have you swapped your axle vent? I ordered one like the front diff has and put it on my rear 500 miles ago and mine hasn’t leaked since. I know it may not be the root cause, but it may be a contributing factor that places a bandaid until Jeep...
