  1. EcoDiesel turbo overheating

Yikes, gotta be a contortionist to try to find that. I believe it would physically impossible for Jeep to jam any more stuff in that area. 😃. I can see a wire harness running by it but don’t see anything actually contacting it.
  2. EcoDiesel turbo overheating

Sadly, still haven’t found anything directly on it.
  3. EcoDiesel turbo overheating

Just the warn winch. Agreed. I need to be more patient. 🤣
  4. EcoDiesel turbo overheating

I don’t see anything laying on it. Sorry for the bad pics and still have mud from the Dempster sitting on it.
  5. EcoDiesel turbo overheating

    * Reviving thread * Anyone still dealing with this? Any new insights? I’ve had it light up the dash (stability warning) on my JTRD and kick me into limp mode a few times. Usually when it’s over 85 degrees and I’m accelerating up a hill. I’m carrying a lot of weight with an Alu-cab Canopy...
  6. Amazing Trip - Canada/Alaska

It was one of my dreams too. We’d been to Alaska several times fishing but this was the first time driving and I never realized how beautiful Canada was. Just amazing. We saw lots of ppl ground tenting everywhere we went so it’s certainly doable. Only real issue is ensuring you are following all...
  7. Amazing Trip - Canada/Alaska

Cool pics! After reaching Eagle Plains they shut the ferry back down due to high water so we didn’t get to Tuk. It’s my fault because I only scheduled 3 days for that and we had to keep moving. Lesson learned, next time I’ll set aside a full week for Tuk so we can ā€œwait it outā€ until the ferry...
  8. Amazing Trip - Canada/Alaska

The Dempster was an absolute mess after having 3 days of rain. Got to Eagle Plains and the entire parking area was 4 inches of mud. They have a car wash there (power washer) and charge $40 CA to use it. 😊. It was the best money we spent since we couldn’t open the back, jeep doors or side panels...
  9. Alu-Cab Canopy Camper Roll Call

I meant to post this here in the ACCC forum. I’m forum challenged. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/amazing-trip-canada-alaska.97575/
  10. Amazing Trip - Canada/Alaska

It was terrific. I could go on for hours about everything we did. No firearms. I started checking into it and finally got so frustrated I gave up and loaded up with bear spray. Too many confusing rules. Basically it’s got to be a specific model of long gun and I didn’t think it was feasible...
  11. Amazing Trip - Canada/Alaska

Alaska/Canada Trip Report Just returned from 8 weeks in Canada and Alaska. It was an amazing trip. We (wife and Border Collie) left SLC on Memorial Day and visited/stopped in Kalispell, Banff, Jasper, Dawson Creek, Whitehorse, Tombstone Territorial Park, Eagle Plains, Arctic Circle, Dawson...
  12. Can't add gas, fuel flap door is stuck

Yes this is a real issue in Canada (Yukon). DO NOT leave home without the funnel that came with the jeep. The start of the Dempster Highway and Eagle Plains only have the large (18 wheeler) nozzle and the SMALL nozzle. You will be screwed and setting up permanent residence in the Yukon if you...
  13. Alu-Cab Canopy Camper Roll Call

Hi All…I am preparing to do the Goose Gear 100% rear seat delete. I’ve read all of the posts of ppl that have done it but my question is: Is there a consensus on which version is preferred (High or Low)? My fridge is staying in the ACCC. I’m leaning toward the high to store more gear that I...
  14. Scout Tuktut - Official Thread

I saw it parked on the street when I drove through Moab on Monday. You would have to drag my Alu-Cab Canopy Camper out of my cold, dead hands, but I’ve got to admit it’s a nice looking package and I am a little jealous of the interior comfort. Very nice!
  15. Alu-Cab Canopy Camper Roll Call

Well…well…well. I found a ton of videos on their webpage. Most were not technical enough but there is one with detailed instructions on installing TVMS Prime that answered several of my questions. Then I figured I’d try their email support and emailed several questions. I assumed I’d get the...
  16. Alu-Cab Canopy Camper Roll Call

I just have a few minor changes (adding Starlink mini, getting the six water tank levels off of my iPhone app since I don’t have a monitor on my single water tank, etc) but it scares me to have to go back in and reconfigure everything. I absolutely love the RedArc and it’s been rock solid but...
  17. Alu-Cab Canopy Camper Roll Call

Anyone else have issues/questions about the RedArc TVMS Systems? I’m NOT an electrician, but would like to add devices and figure out how to configure the iPhone app without having to reconfigure the entire system. I wish there was a RedArc User Group as helpful as this forum has been. (Maybe...
  18. Alu-Cab Canopy Camper Roll Call

I’m in the same space mquetel. The Dickinson works fine for us but I’d like more control and a thermostat so I can let it self regulate. With the Dickinson I have to hang upside down from the bed to turn it off when it gets too warm inside. The diesel heaters have really made big strides these...
  19. Alu-Cab Canopy Camper Roll Call

Not sure if anyone has used these before, but it’s a great option if you find yourself wanting to sit up and read in the tent if it’s raining or at night. They flatten down and store under mattress nicely. Crazy Creek Longback $75 at REI. ?
  20. Alu-Cab Canopy Camper Roll Call

Exactly…at my age, those middle of the night trips just got safer. ?? ?
