So just continuing this thread I started a while back.
My issue wasn’t solved I just gave up and ran out of time/money to throw at my “small evap leak code”.

Mechanic I spoke with said...
There’s a particular humped and curved section of the interstate that caused it to happen to my 22. I know what it feels like because my JKU had death wobble. Feelsbadman.
It was the purge valve that let me clear the CEL. The check fuel cap light is still on and the permanent codes are still on. I don’t know how long it can take to clear.
An update, the "Genuine Mopar" purge valve from Amazon (was same price as rock auto and free shipping... I know, I know... The original has a horse and says continental, the "genuine" has a =V= symbol) did seem to make the active and pending codes clearable.
CEL gone.
There's still permanent...
I guess I could return it if that’s the case. But a $40 part vs hundreds at the dealer is hard to pass up.
My remote start is disabled due to CEL.
It’s freakin cold.
I’m goin for replacement lol.
So I've seen a bit of information about this.
Of course a couple of months after my basic warranty is done my CEL comes on after a trip of "check fuel cap" warnings.
Of course I've checked the fuel caps, I even replaced the fuel cap now.
"oh you should get the OEM one", seems like a PITA to...
Yea it's so big it moves the vents lol.
I'm a techie and I've been Jeep poor since I bought the thing, but now as I'm ending the bumper to bumper I might start playing around and it's really hard to not upgrade the infotainment.
Always wish I had gone with the technology package...
Anybody running iOS 26 beta with a Stinger Horizon12?
Curious if you can run 2 widgets per screen.
Not that that totally will affect my purchase decision, I just really like the idea that now we can display some widgets with battery level, charging status, fridge temp etc., but I hate scrolling...
Softopper and rack are so worth it. If it had gas struts that opened the back window I’d never consider a hard cap. Make it useful, uncovered truck beds look useless to me, other than being a “hey can you help me move X” magnet. But you do you.
Massive? Somewhere in my photo library I have a hilarious photo of mine surrounded by fullsizes and 2500 sizes and it looks like that girl on the couch meme... :CWL:
