Does this new package come with "purpose built" cams and lifters that are "mission ready" to last more than 50-100k miles and "engineered" to meet stringent specs that are required for reliable modern engines?
Maybe call it the "Bespoke" package like Samsung did after selling a bunch of shitty...
My coworker wasnt as lucky. Bought a used 2019 silverado with 40-50k miles. At 70k+ miles his engine started ticking and was determined to be the dreaded lifter issue. Out of warranty and he still owed on it. He let the bank take it filed for chapter 7. It was a very nice truck.
Mine does the same thing and has done since I bought it used with 30k miles. Changed fluid at 50k, even overfilling by lifting the back up as high as I could. Mine starts like yours, at about 180-190 degrees, first to second. Its more noticeable with the doors off as well. Runs and shifts like...
Didn't they do that with with the 4xe? Slapped er right in there? Didn't they just do that with the durangos? Slapped a hemi in them? How did that work out for durango sales?
As an expert in this industry, what can Jeep do to the jt to increase sales and keep die hard enthusiasts happy? More...
Yep, high belt line, low greenhouse, similar to the new bronco. We just need IFS with small weak components that need upgraded to do real offroading stuff.
It doesnt seem long ago back around 2008 when gas was near the $4 per gallon mark and the news wasnt really talking about it. In fact some viewed it as a positive thing, making the prospects of alternative fuel solutions more attractive.
Today, its a big deal.
If I recall, Matt from Ozark Overland had 5.13's with 37" tires and when he did the amw 5.7 swap, he went back down to 4.56 gears and was happy he did after driving it. I wonder if you'd be better with 3.73 gears?
I daily drive my jt and love it. The only jt that would be better for me is a 2 door gladiator with extended cab and smaller back seats. The only thing better than that is a 2 door jt with a 5.7. Keep the bed the same so my rugged ridge trifold cover can be used on the 2 door please.
Push the legislature to enact mail in emissions testing where you only provide license plate number and name, vehicle info etc. By default the vehicle comes from the factory adhering to federal emissions guidelines we ALL pay extra for in various ways. If they wont concede take them to court and...
Can anyone comment on why mopar never made a factory aluminum V8 block? I just assumed they did since its been popular with gm and Ford since the late 90's, but I guess none of there V8's are aluminum?
The harsh truth is, gladiator sales will not rebound significantly until something substantial is brought to the platform. A large segment of enthusiasts want a V8 option at a reasonable upcharge. The evidence for this is all around us.
I dont predict anything except my truck is getting a swap...
Everyone? Are you just taking a viewpoint you dont like and attributing other things along with it that are worse, so that its easy for you to discount their concerns altogether and you dont have to think or have your views challenged?
