I'm in construction and have used a lot of different brands of tools over the decades.
Dewalt 18v was the hot stuff in the 2000's.
Then Millwaukee was light years ahead for quite awhile.
New Dewalt is finally on par or better with the Milwaukee stuff.
Currently at work we run Milwaukee 18v...
Ok,
Oil changed
Transfer case fluid changed
Transmission fluid changed
4 tire rotation, criss cross.
26,832 miles.
Nothing alarming in any of the fluids. That Slippery Pete line of pumps is f'n great. First time using the gallon one. I am used to their smaller pumps. Fantastic stuff.
I like...
My 23' JTR with 27k on it now, is starting to cup on the fronts. I have not rotated. Will do it tomorrow, lol.
Still OEM Wildpeaks. I'd be more cautious if they were aftermarket 37's! $$$$$
Ok, still havnt uploaded my clutch install pics/vids, lol
Havnt installed much of anything.
Lots of stuff to do though.
Trans fluid swap
Transfer fluid swap
Oil change
Install Voswitch
4 Diode dynamics lights to install.
2 cowl, two on the front bumper
Oracle running lights! Keep forgetting...
I'm usually the test subject for mods in my friend group. So I upgrade based on experiences, buy new tools both pre and post job. I normally end up installing the same parts on their vehicles, so I try to make things much easier, lol
HARBOR FREIGHT RUN!!!
Badland offroad jack
Daytona 12 ton jackstands
Pittsburgh 800 lbs Transmission jack
Some other hand tools, lol.
After installing an ACT clutch in the gladiator, I realized I needed to upgrade a few items, lol
I still need to make the clutch install post, lol
I fiddled with Jscan today.
Use the clean phasers procedure, did all 4. Intake phaser 2 sounded quite a bit different than the rest, which may not be great.
Reset all adaptive ecu data. Which Im hoping is a KAM reset. Going to look into this...
Books were heavier then too, and backpacks hadn't been invented, had to use a belt. Always a strong frontal wind regardless of direction. 15 miles each way. Shoes were just hand me down leather scraps that offered no traction, insulation, or waterproofness. Really shaped a generation. 🫠
I just run their rear bumper reverse lights. I have a full led JTR, and find the bumper reverse lights to be fantastic! Super bright, great fitment. Very very happy with them.
I plan on keeping my OEM LED tails. If I start breaking them on the trail, I will have to reconsider, lol
