  1. 2020 Max Tow M220 rear differential woes

2021 Mojave with 58.7k miles on the odometer and one month left on my powertrain warranty. My rear pinion bearing just went out and is being covered. (even though I was previously re-geared and the dealership knows about it, which was cool of them). I brought it in at 55k for my normal oil...
  2. Nebraska Double Black Off Road Rubicon/Mojave fender flare extensions

I am selling my Double Black Off Road 2” fender flare extensions for us-spec Rubicon/Mojave gladiators. I used them for about 2 years, mainly running them while I had 13.5” wide tires. I swapped over to 12.5” wide tires and didn’t care for the look. They were previously sprayed with sound...
  3. Synergy two inch front springs installed

I have a Mojave with a steel bumper and winch up front. I’m running 3” synergy springs, AEV 2” lift and a bunch of Metalcloak parts. The synergy springs replaced my factory springs and AEV spacer. The ride is exactly like a factory Mojave, it’s awesome. I still haven’t swapped out the rear...
  4. Gladiator 85th Anniversary Edition [Added: live look video & photos]

If only the gold tow hooks came with the 392 like they were supposed to!
  5. 35" All Season tires to drive cross country?

If it is a wheeling trip, fly to your destination, rent a Jeep and wheel, fly back. While I always enjoy wheeling my Jeep; some of my biggest stress is worrying about breaking it or breaking down when you have a long drive back. During my last trip to Moab, I picked up on the fact that the...
  6. Help me decide 4.88 or 5.13 for my use

Reading through your overall thought process in this thread, I’d just get 4.88’s. You’ll be happier with them, you’ll tow just fine, and you’ll get the cruising rpm’s that you’ll likely be most comfortable with. There’s only a 5% difference between 4.88 and 5.13, not enough in my opinion to...
  7. Help me decide 4.88 or 5.13 for my use

During my Black Hills trip, I used the off-road cruise control quite a bit. What I found funny, is that with 5.38’s and 2.72:1 transfer case, the computer would choose 8th gear most of the time. I’d have it set to 2 or 2.5 mph and I’m in 8th, kind of weird, but it drove great. All I had to do...
  8. Help me decide 4.88 or 5.13 for my use

In full disclosure, I only went with 5.38’s because I re-geared post faux-demic when 5.13’s were back ordered for months. I found one supplier who had a single set of Dana Spicer 5.38’s and just rolled with it. 5.38’s are only 4.5% deeper than 5.13’s and I can honestly say I enjoy the way the...
  9. Help me decide 4.88 or 5.13 for my use

I’m fairly certain it does not engage until 3000 rpm. I can get to just a smidge under, like 2950 rpm and 85 mph before my oil pressure spikes and you get into high cam and 2nd stage of the oil pump. You’ll be totally fine with 5.13’s.
  10. Help me decide 4.88 or 5.13 for my use

I’m on 5.38’s and 37’s. I recently drove 900 miles back from Moab and had my cruise set at 84 mph pretty much the entire drive back. I was at 2850 rpm and stayed out of the 2nd stage of the oil pump when cruising in 8th, which was most of the drive through the flats of Nebraska. You’ll be...
  11. Leveling Mojave with a AEW 2" Puck Lift

I eventually ditched the front AEV Mojave spacer and factory spring for a 3” Synergy spring when I added my Arcus bumper and Badlands winch. The Synergy springs rides identical to the factory Mojave spring but also handles the weight of the front perfectly. I’ve been super happy with it for...
  12. Apex Autolynx questions

You’ll be fine with the 10.5” Autolynx. I’ve got the AEV lift on my Mojave with 3” front Synergy springs (removed and replaced factory springs and AEV spacers to accommodate front bumper and winch) The 10.5” Autolynx clear with zero cutting. I’m super happy with them, function flawlessly off...
  13. Start/Stop battery is STUPID!

I replaced both my aux battery and main battery in September 2023 prior to a Jeeping trip. I installed an Odyssey Extreme aux battery and a Batteries Plus X2 AGM H7 as my main battery (I was having a hard time finding an Odyssey Extreme main at that time). Both batteries were fully charged...
  14. Question about tires, lifts and gearing

You can either get a Jscan tool or a Tazer to reprogram the correct tire size and gear ratio. It’s not a big deal at all; both are low cost solutions compared to the regear and tires. I’m fairly certain yhe ship you choose for the regear can add that in as well.
  15. Fuel “efficiency” with 37s

I guess I do t feel too bad; I’m averaging 14 mpg around Omaha with 3” lift, 5.38’s and 37” Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I’d have to do 70mph or less on the highway to see 16-17 mpg’s. I averaged about 14 mpg doing 84mph across SD headed to the Black Hills, but that was also loaded down.
  16. Yukon Gear FAIL! at 50k miles

I’m happy to hear that response from Dana. I’ve had my Spicer 5.38’s for over 20k miles and they’ve been fantastic on and off road. I wouldn’t say that I’m overly hard on them, but I’m not super easy either. The truck is super peppy with my 37’s driven as a daily.
  17. I've lived too long with 37's and the 4.10 gears in my Rubicon.

I’ve got 20k miles on my Dana 5.38’s with zero issues. I load my truck down for long trips and am quite happy with the performance on and off road. My truck handles the mountain passes quite well.
  18. 2021 mojave front springs upgrade recommendations requested

I have the AEV Mojave lift on 37’s and eventually replaced the front spacers with Synergy 3” springs. They handle the weight of my front bumper and Badland winch perfectly while still maintaining the Mojave ride. I’m super happy with the switch. I tried the Metal Cloak springs but they were...
  19. Preferred Gears (brand) and why?

I’ve had my Dana Spicer 5.38’s for 16k miles with zero issues. They’ve been quiet and reliable.
  20. "Do I REALLY need to re-gear for 37s?" - Yes. Yes you do.

I’ve been meaning add these pictures as a point of reference for those looking to re-gear. I am running 5.38’s with 37’s so those who go with 5.13’s will have slightly lower RPM’s for the given speed. At 85 mph, I’m at roughly 2900 RPM. Considering that I still have 3500 RPM redline and...
