Definitely a jeep thing. If I was unable to clear codes my Gladiator would have needed a tow several times in very remote locations because it went into limp mode. Seriously would have had to lemon law it. The long hill out of Baker towards Vegas has stopped me several times. A slew of codes...

My battery failed yesterday. The factory warranty expired the day before. Service says sometimes Jeep will “goodwill” most of the cost in this type case. We’ll see.

My question was fairly technical. Is it the last 10 miles devided by the fuel used during those miles. Or maybe it’s the last mile. Or maybe since the last reset (unlikely, since then a couple miles of high or low mileage wouldn’t hardly budge the gauge). Does it use flow and integrate over...

It would seem to me if it used all the miles and gallons since the last reset the mpg would stabilize after a while. Yet it does vary…

I’m assuming it’s a simple running average. Anyone have the details (how many miles or minutes, sample length, those types of things)?
