  1. I just Bought a JT!

I've enjoyed mine so far. It's really is incredible what these things will go through. I've helped several stuck people and drove right up to them and got them out when nothing else would. And once I got my winch, I've never got stuck. If you team the HF membership along with a sale like...
  2. Dropped key between the seats and it went under the center console…

I got a small black towel that matched pretty close to the interior and folded it up and tucked it in that gap on both seats. it's easy to take put and clean and stops everything from going down there including french fries.
  3. Emissions Testing Issues (for yearly inspection) &/or Tazer related ??

Why do you even need to do an emissions check, on a vehicle that’s barely a year old and only 5,700mi? Some counties require it annually. Several in Texas does

there's no fix except to replace the light itself. Wrong I cracked mine open, got rid of the guts and replaced them with a simple 12 v led strip. I got a 8 pack of them for 7 bucks. Only needed 1 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014V4RX5A?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_9&th=1

  9. DIY Recoil 4 Tire Inflator/Deflator

I thought about putting one together but it's a pin to store. I just do one tire at a time. It's not like a few minutes a tire makes any difference

Do you press it once or twice? Twice is required
  11. What in this Jeep is spying on us?

Actually it works better to wrap your whole jeep in it. And then be sure to replace your windows and windshield with these: All of these methods and more are pointless, unless you also make a little foil helmet for each and every duck on the dash.
  12. WTH is This?

It might have been stuck there at one time, but it's not supposed to be. Apparently at the factory, two guys were sitting in your jeep on the assembly line and were fixing a sandwich and didn't want the extra slice of cheese and stuck them up there. They used to be a orangy yellow color.
  13. Third Break Light

They are known for solder joints breaking on the board in them. Pretty sure the doors lock too! Not when they’re off They do. You can lock them before you take them off. That way nobody can open them with them in storage.
  16. Rubicon hood vents

I replaced my hood insulation a while back, and on the bottom of the vents, theres only a very small square hole. Probably 10mm square. So no they are not functional. I though about opening up the bottom but they would let in a whole bunch of rain in, and of course other water like a trip...
  17. LEAKING! less than 2 yrs old. Please any help or suggestions

There is a drain tube down each side of the windshield. Just a small something can block it. Take the front tops off and get up high and look for them. That was the answer for someone else on here a couple of weeks ago.
  18. Liquid head gasket repair

Before you do, watch some vidgas of it. Those products are made to plug holes. And they don't care what hole. If it can plug it, it will. Then when you have to do the repair correctly you've got to dig nasty goop out of everything.
  19. Winch lines, the rain, and drying them out...

So what about every time it rains? Are you going to park it a few days till the rain stops, then another day to let it dry? Of all the years of being around winches (these kind) and all the people on YT using them daily, not a single one has said a peep about drying your winch lines. Cane...
